Is using the VI eligible for 8x TBP for spend on Airasia?

Noticed that they removed Amex as a payment option and my next best to earn miles would be the Alliance VI.

I know previously some members did verify that airasia is eligible for the 8X TBP, but that was back in 2023.

First time using Alliance here... applied for balance transfer from my Maybank AMEX to my new Alliance VI. How come it creates a seperate account just for the bt? I thought it should go directly to my cc account?

I spent RM3349 on shopeepay reload using Visa Virtual Credit Card and received 26792 points. I thought 8x points is capped at RM3k for e-wallet reload?

Their system show earned 26792 points and show 2443 points (7 x RM349) redeemed at the same time

I tried 6k ECOM with the VI. Capped at 3k for x8 points.
