my virtual card, received RM88, balance become negative, but, still charge me interest... CS mentioned the RM88 promotion cashback is not treated as payment...

Think it was mentioned in some other card threads quite some time back, that cannot rely on cashback for entire payment even if the cashback (likely from one off campaigns) are higher than the statement amount. At least must pay something, maybe the minimum payment amount in statement or something like that.

But, already -68, so, impossible for me to pay again.. statement due on 24th, cashback credited on 12th..

Anyway, they said is bcoz virtual card is point card, so, won’t treat cashback as payment, but if cashback card, then no issue.. didn’t expect their system so canggih to differentiate this..

First time applied normally will have promo - SST waiver.

But my alliance bank card so far always can waive with RM26 after called and certain condition met
