Weird... my experience with alliance is superb and hassle free...
I think you better check your own ctos score etc... must be a reason why bank so extra careful with you when for others is smooth experience and no need fd pledge... just thinking out loud...

Afterware I aware 5% is for spending from 2 to 3k which equal to only roughly 1.67% cash back. I think it is blessing in disguise that the application didn't go through as the benefit is not what I expected.

Affin duo is much better in the sense where they give 3%. Pbb wise although no more CB for e wallet but their benefit quite good and on and off got some campaign with good cashback. That's y I am keeping their quantum master, visa and visa signature.

Other card I am having now is Citibank for lazada, hsbc visa signature. Standard chartered jop and Liverpool initially used to ewallet cash back but since the revision of benefit, it is not that good anymore but I am still keeping as they waive for the annual fee and give some retention program when I ask to cancel.

Out of so many bank I experience with on credit card, alliance is the 1 with most ridiculous feedback & request. Another bad experience is aeon platinum master card where I was charged annual fee and then the staff said cannot waived so I ask to proceed for cancellation.

Afterward I didn't aware that they didn't cut my card and every month charge management fee on outstanding of annual fee. I didn't aware at first but when I notice it then I check back and notice they waived the sst but not annual fee. Upon follow up with them, they keep dragging and reluctant to proceed for cancellation.

Then only when I told them will bring to bank negara if issues didn't settle as I already given them clear instruction to cancel. Only then they finally proceed for cancellation and waive all those annual fee and the interest they charged on it.

Aeon wise is indeed a bad experience but not weird as per what I experience with alliance. I think I am not the only 1 and u will see all kind of weird experience from other user if u look back on the previous post.

Do you know how to read? I said I already move on. Whether you like it or not, I am just sharing my personal experience like how the way forum work. Yet you call it my personal rant ......... I think is case to case basis then. If you look at the forum then you will notice quite often alliance give weird response but I think there must be some happy customer. Just that I am one of the customer kena weird response from them. For my case is they said "company not listed" that's why I feel weird.

Thanks guys. Sometimes, I really don't understand how this band allocate TBPs... was expecting to see more but not per what I expected. Guessed I will need to make a call to request for calculations.

Anyone encounter unauthorised transaction charged to your MC. I kena last month 26th jun amount US81.89 (RM401.10)
Charged to FIT866-498-1191 866-4981191 USA . That’s the merchant name when I received the sms. I reported immediately as soon as i woke up probably around 5:30 in the morning. SMS received at 4:46 am and no TAC whatsoever.

The thing is Alliance bank keep sending me SMS stating the dispute will be investigated within 14 days. I am pretty sure it should be reverted but Alliance bank hotline somehow keeps delaying case still pending under investigation. I have no idea on the progress.

Do yo thiink i should report to bank negara or anyone with experience can advise my next course of action.

If you read back some older posting, some of us were scammed as well - no SMS tag nothing. Purely transactions in our card statements under APPLE.

I decided to wait for 1 statement cycle after the dispute form was sent, eventually all the transactions were rolled back.

What I was annoyed was I needed to wait for a new card from them, and all the autopayments have to be re-established.

i got the APPLE unauthorised payment , small amount like rm12?
called CS and they credit it immediately, so i think is quite “frequent” for them already ..

Hmms, anyone here use their Alliance VI (or i should say any of the Alliance cc), basically for TnG ewallet? If yes, do you guys receive sms notification everytime you top up into your ewallet? It is weird since June, i never received any sms notification everytime i top up my TnG ewallet? It used to be have sms one.

I call to Alliance bank early of this month and the lady said i should have sms notification.

Such a good say “I should have sms notification🤷‍♂️“. But i am not.

Issue found. After i removed my saved Alliance card, then reload manually, then yes sms comes. “Card ending xxxx charged for MYR xxx at TNG ewallet………”

If I make another reload again after i re-saved the Alliance card, no sms notification.

Suspect is the end issue from Alliance. I reload using Affin saved card, no problem, sms from Affin arrived.

Ahh no wonder when I try to use this card for apple game reload, the card keep blocking and I need to personally call 0355169911 ( their cc auth hotline, i received sms when the card is temp suspended). Need to do some verification on cc, tac received and they unblock their card. the auth cs mention they received soo many fraud cases related to apple and currently sensitive on non card present transaction.

As per my conversation with CS, it seems this points allocation issue can only be resolved around Oct. Crazy
