i think your ping is high? should be below 15ms, unless u are in east malaysia?

I believe the throttling only applies to p2p/torrents right?
If 8pm-2am they throttle full internet speed also, that's insane. But i don't think so, i believe its only for torrents

Been without my Fibre for 9 days.

If there is a complain about Maxis, its their billing department and registration department.

Mine was OKU package but apparently was not discounted and I received no bills at all. Cut my line after 2.5months. Paid half of the bill as directed by Maxis Centre but still without internet after 5 working days.

Also made a mistake registering my iValue as new instead of extending the plan. Got charge RM100 but they rectify that quite fast.

anyone lives in desa petaling or knows ppl who live in desa petaling using maxis fibre? wanna do some survey on the connection in this area

I've tried looking through the thread but couldn't find any info. I wish to ask if BU11/12 Maxis Fiber uses whic VLAN ID? It doesn't use Unifi fiber hence it might be different from VLAN 621

EDIT : Okay, found out that it used VLAN 11. What about voice service vlan?

my internet was down since saturday before 1pm until just now with eInternet authentication failed. i called maxis 6 times, and they said problem still not resolved and most users affected. so i am the lucky one on Internet now?

during my down time, they had asked me to try reconnect, restart modem within 1 hour while they reset my port (donno what is this). then just now they mentioned problem was fibre cable cut. i still wonder how i managed to reconnect and fear disconnection again...

having problem with maxis. i noticed late at night 1-2am i will get DC. the thompon modem will only have power led on. then i need to wait 10 minute for it to reconnect back or press connect manuallly. anybody faced this ?

New throttled speed is 0.5Mbps (~50KBps)

This daily throttle will effect from 8pm to 2am on any package Maxis HOME fiber for P2P traffic only. All other traffic like HTTP, FTP etc shouldn't affected by this.

Maxis finally activated my line back after my constant nagging for their answer for my OKU account discount. Damn... hate Maxis... for their deliberate attempt to rip off customers. Even my almost expired iValue contract which I extend got registered as new and being penalised RM100. Really headache with Maxis cause always overcharge.
