Regular Senior Member 1,314 posts Joined: Aug 2007	hey i changed to maxis home fibre 10mb solely because i want to stream movies from my tv box ( those china one ) but i am receiving buffering quite often. I tried the same tx box at my friend house who is using unifi 5mp, there was no buttering. why maxis like this ? is there any thing i can do to improved ? any configuration or modem problem or location problem ?

Don't believe try it yourself. make sure you got lots of fully seeded torrents so you can hit the max speed though. its cap to <150 kB/s now wth

Regular Senior Member 1,314 posts Joined: Aug 2007	having problem with maxis. i noticed late at night 1-2am i will get DC. the thompon modem will only have power led on. then i need to wait 10 minute for it to reconnect back or press connect manuallly. anybody faced this ?

March 2013... back to JP server before going to SG - 120ms... server is getting worse... why can\t they be like unifi and direct to SG server.. with 15ms ping??? why??? yep that is what i expected. they route back to JP when i get 120++ pings with packet losses. no idea. maybe if direct route to SG expensive or something . so use other country cheaper ?
