yes.. i noticed the ping went up 2 days ago... causing lag and stuff... zzzzzzz...
always kena KS without knowing why...

just checked the trace route... 103.28.54.1.

when it was around 70 - 80ms.. it was routed to HK server before going SG server...

now it is back to routing to JP server before going SG server again... why is it going back to the problem?

so the problem reappears...

last year Jul 2012.. it was routed to US before going to SG - 220ms...
the sometime in October 2012.. it was routed to JP before going to SG - 120ms...
then sometime in December 2012.. it was routed to HK before going to SG - 70 - 80ms (acceptable)

and now... March 2013... back to JP server before going to SG - 120ms...
server is getting worse...

why can\t they be like unifi and direct to SG server.. with 15ms ping??? why???

Their service is crap. Been using for pass few weeks, can gt around 100 ping for hon. Now was like 400-500 ms ping?!
Gonna complaints later!(even though they cant help always)

yep that is what i expected. they route back to JP when i get 120++ pings with packet losses.
no idea. maybe if direct route to SG expensive or something . so use other country cheaper ?

dont wait later, pls do complaining now. i'm requesting to do early termination without penalty fees now because maxis can't solve their high latency issue to international routing

I am a newbie to Fibre broadband.
I have recently subscribed for Maxis fibre to replace my streamyX.
I should be getting it installed by Maxis this 1-2 weeks.
I wonder if I could buy and use a better gateway modem router (preferably with firewall) instead of using Maxis's own Thompson/Technicolor modem router?
Would appreciate very much if you could suggest & recommend to me which brand & model to go for?

i suggest to take unifi... and cancel your Maxis...
if you really a fan of Maxis and die die also need Maxis... just use their router... others may have some incompatibility issues and require some setup that is too technical for basic user like me.

nice... i think i will do that too... switch to unifi!!! i wait for 9 months d for their IPTV.. and after 2 public announcements.. still no picture... shame on Maxis...

Anyone here having troubles connecting to Google's services? I can't connect to Google, YouTube, Gmail, for the past 10 minutes.
Tried other browsers, still the same. My computer is using OpenDNS, so I tried using ANOTHER computer under my home's network and it is still the same.
I hope I'm not alone in this.

Ah. Now I am relieved to have know this is Maxis's issue. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Edit: Seems to work now. Looks like it was just a short 20 minute issue of some sort.

NOW PING IMPROVED AGAIN... BACK TO 70MS TO VALVE SERVERS IN SINGAPORE... NOT IDEAL, BUT BEARABLE...

i wait maxis to resolve high latency issue since subscribe on july 2012, now already march 2013. receive phone call from maxis just now telling me they already put special note for my account so i can terminate early without any penalty charge. yay!

Its been 1 month already.
the cap is on during the peak hours 8-12 pm.

I wonder if anyone experience slow/lag loading of video/youtube in facebook? everytime i open those video in facebook it just load super slow n lag!!!
