Hi. I've been using maxis fibre broadband for the past 2 months (10mbps) and so far been doing alright. Am mainly using for ps3 gaming and downloads ( about 5-10 GB a month ) and is connected via wifi.

One problem I have is when I connect via LAN, my ps3 unable to connect and am still scratching my head to figure out why. FYI, my maxis line is connected to the unifi router ( I also have unifi line) which is TM open up ( common practice in condos if owner does not want to disconnect unifi yet).

Anyway, anyone got problems with LAN connection with this kinda setup?

I requested a switch from Private IP to Public IP.
I did so because I need to host a web server from my PC. Also for some gaming reasons (eg. Minecraft servers, etc)
But the thing is, are there any cons to public IP?
Everything (speed, P2P) will be fine like before right?
The only difference I get from switching is the ability to forward ports, right?

Mine getting better from torrent to gaming , fifa 13 prevly restricted now ok , torrent good bf3 u need to tweak lil bit at upnp router setting or else getting disconected half way game.

Torrent im getting most up to 2mbs download eventhough mine is 10mbs only

I want to change my ip too.. but how?
Can i just make request for changing?



Anyway, looks like maxis is still silent about their iptv services....

I haven't received my bill after the installation .. 2 months joh.

I did received bill with 0 charge before the installation. Because I apply early ...

Anyone else experience the same thing???

i've connect my printer to router with usb, but it didn't appear in configuration page...

Just call them they will give it straight away and guide u how to change it simple and if they ask u y wanna change tell them u want to play online game. That's it.

i think that USB port is for USB modem only...
not for USB printer or pendrive...

I change mine by making request there....
within few days they'll reply u by pm or direct call u if u provide the collect infomation....
they'll ask some question within the phone conversation to verify your identity, eg ic number, mother name...
then next day will have technical support to call u teach u how to change ur router setting for public ip.

Actually, I called the helpdesk in the morning, and they configured it within 2 hours!

yup, call helpdesk is faster.
