I've been on the RM88 4mb Streamx Unipack plan.
Now the 24 month contract is ending.
I heard that we can continue with it.

Should I continue with the RM88 4mb Streamyx?
Or go on and install my RM118 10mb Maxis plan?

I'm really satisfied with this 4mb.
It's more than enough for me as I only use internet for work.
I hardly download and dont play games at all.
It's really stable. Never give me any headache.

Then when I look over at this Maxis thread, there seems to be a lot of problems with the router.
I need stability. That's the most important.

Don't know what to do.
Maxis installer will come in mid September.
I dont need IPTV.
I still can cancel it but Im still on the fence.
Is it worth it to pay RM30 extra for a 6mb more speed?
But then get a potential headache..

And does the modem/router need to be next to the TV?
Or can we put the modem/router wherever we want to like streamyx modem?
*
it is up to u..
but for me it is worth it.. cuz my internet now streamix 1mb=rm100
so with just rm18 differences, it really worth it.. plus im a astro subscriber now, don't know how about the package in the future but i look forward to it.. i heard that iptv is an optional.. correct me if im wrong~
for the modem, yeah, i heard about it to.. but you never know unless u try it..

look like a bully just become even bigger bullier,
and it looks like we wont get our IPTV anytime soon... thanx to Astro  vmad.gif  mad.gif  sad.gif  doh.gif

cant they just start with da original 14 content provider? thanx to Astro again....  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

about the dispute, it was a long time ago..
what the writer said, it should be done ages ago, when unifi was brand new.. now unifi is rocking while astro was so "ego" at first signed a deal with TIME. not that i am against TIME, but why the hell did they sign up in the first place.. they should know TIME has limited coverage and it would taken ages to penetrate us.. recently maxis signed with 14 service provider right? i think that make astro so afraid when they see full potential of maxis via unifi infra.. its funny right how this sister company should get along ages ago... ahhh... business world, always with their ego

this is wat i mean...

but there are more serious problem coming...
coz government is given out more broadcasting license  icon_rolleyes.gif
from wat it see... Astro gonna hv dysfunction  sweat.gif

THE WAR IS COMING  brows.gif
*
well not quite..
if gov give more broadcasting license, that means there are war in service and price..
remember, gov also give FTA license to 9 other channel as i recall, but there are no new channel except TV Alhijrah and WBC (not aired in astro). new service such as ABN looks promising and could be new copetitor towards unifi and astro+maxis.. so they better be nice to us.. thumbup.gif
