you guys should try my old training ground. UK heights comes packaged with attack dogs to improve your sprint skills. its a short climb =P  nod.gif its Jalan pimping up all the way to the end of Jalan Teberau.  access is from MRR2 melawati to ampang. fair warning its a dead stop into the climb. forgot the gradient.
Ok found the 4.8k pricing for the SL2 posted in Feb this year.

you got it mixed up with US edition which is Giant TCR Advanced ...the TCR SL's are aluminium. Which should be in North America by 2013 or late 2012.

Hi guys, i recently feel like picking up cycling as a hobby.

Mainly, to lose weight.

Do you guys think fixie is a good idea for like 10-15km ride daily?

something like this would be nice for me...

http://bicyclebuysell.com/view_item.php?id=152557

budget is like RM 1K.

true, but its really bad for the joints. Cycling beats running in the long run (hmmmm a pun)

actually... that is a misconception...i used to think running is bad for a lot of things.. joints being one...

providing that the postures are right..foot strike and everything... running actually improves bone health as the impacts actually encourages your bones to build and create denser bone structures based on a scientific study...

and if you have a correct posture... forces sent down your foot will actually be distributed correctly and dissipated as it travels up your body... running with bad shoes, etc actually puts forces onto your joints and prematurely wears them down...

talking of joint wear... cycling is actually worst on the knees than running as i heard in the long run...

best sport for me is actually swimming... you get to work every muscle and you exercise in a weightless environment which induces no stress onto any part of the body...

unfortunately... i sink like a rock...so... swimming is not my game.. neither is running for that matter...most prolly gonna trip over my own feet...

Ok, I agree with your comment. I shall run.....not likely unless a bunch of 'cannot be named' things/animals/beings are chasing me.

yeah, same goes for cycling. If the bike is improperly fitted it would wreck hell on your body.

I love to swim but my ex convinced me not to because its bad something something with something something elements. same went with my well meaning friends/relatives.

Alloy, carbon or titanium....... blink.gif
