To me whatever on the LO is beside the point, because like the case explicitly mentioned in the LO from Maybank, if the developer defaults, the bank will still go after the borrower. That's the contract.

This missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle is really a letter from the developer.

With that letter, if the bank goes after the borrower, the borrower will still have to pay but at least if the borrower wants to take the matter to the court, he has a piece of something to hold against the developer.

My public LO has mentioned DIBS, but when we sign the S&P we can ask the developer again (for those that not stated in the LO)

this is normal, we as the ultimate buyer have to bear everything in any default of developer

As if the developer will have the big boss sitting in the lawyer office whole day answering questions .... LOL. I bet you wouldn't even able to even see the shadow of any of the developer people there man !

And what good does it do if the developer indeed say YES ? Are you going to record or tape down what he says or what.

The last update from solicitor is that the S&P will be ready in "early October"

Tomorrow is already October!

As of now there's nothing much to update besides waiting for S&P in October. Anyone been to the site lately and how's the progress?

Yup. I received letter from lawyer on Friday. Tentatively s&p would be ready for sign on early of OCT.

Site is basically the same but definitely more activity now as every day goes by. Can basically see that they are already doing soil-related work.

Thanks for the info, hopefully after S&P they can build up their pace. Sure nice to see our units build up from scratch.

Haha, the thread is not dead. Just it was a bit quiet where every brothers here seems very busy currently and as most of us are yet to pen the paper of S&P, it wont be much updates and active owners here.
