Jetta obviously has more space.

Golf has *slightly* better acceleration, on paper at least.

Both cars are pretty much the same in terms of build quality, performance, tech, etc.

But personally I would go for Golf because it looks sportier, more rugged.

I feel Jetta is too 'lurus', like for boring people who work in banks.

Depends on your personal preference for both on 1.4TSI engine.

1) Do you need the boot space ? How often ?

2) Interior : I feel Golf better, just goto showroom and compare both to your liking.
