if beetle 1.2 tsi 138,888 that's like polo 1.2 tsi 108,888 + 30k
so i'm guessing if 1.4 tsi, it's gonna be about the same as rocco lol |

fyi for those who's gonna dyno, u'll most likely get error codes on ABS if u check in VCDS
as usually dyno is only moving your front wheels, rear wheels won't be moving hence ABS will detect there's no motion on your rears |

QUOTE(carpathia @ Aug 5 2012, 10:51 AM) i recalled TOP GEAR reviewed the scirocco before and it was bad...underpowered and the price do not justify it\ which scirocco engine are talking about? 1.4 tsi, 2.0 tsi, 2.0 R or the 2.0 TDI?http://www.topgear.com/uk/volkswagen/scirocco/verdict While the 197bhp 2.0T engine might be broadly the same as the GTI's, the torque arrives earlier, making it seem quicker (though it hits 62mph in 7.2s, the same as the Golf). It's a bit inert when you really start to go mental, but you still come away with the sense that if you had to have a car that spans a multitude of situations, the Scirocco would be it. Since the 1.4TSI comes with Volkswagen's 'Twincharger' system (meaning it boasts both a supercharger and turbocharger), it's lively and responsive despite it's diminutive size. The 2.0TDI is fast-revving and punchy and sounds pretty rorty too. Not as clean and sweet as the petrol, but not rattly and never strained either. The 260bhp 2.0 in the R feels punchier than the 197bhp You can feel the extra oomph, and yes, it is empirically really very quick indeed (0-62mph in 6s and 155mph) but most of the time, the noise and the power delivery is lacking that little extra something. And that something is joy. This post has been edited by fr0sti3: Aug 5 2012, 11:16 AM |

QUOTE(funnybone @ Aug 15 2012, 03:46 PM) the drive train... it's same 1.8 turbo engine & 7 speed DSG as the Passatyou're paying 50k more just for the different body might as well wait for it to come with 2.0 turbo & 6 speed DSG like the previous CC better engine & gearbox, or get an old cc which is same drive train as golf gti This post has been edited by fr0sti3: Aug 16 2012, 06:29 AM |

QUOTE(twincharger07 @ Aug 17 2012, 11:30 AM) It can be tuned like Error404, max torque almost at the DSG max capability (250Nm) yes the optimum range for DQ200 is 250nm from VWG published papersThe RaceChip in your web >300Nm torque sounds abit scary, maybe those are for oversea's manual tranny.. mod with caution.... cheers ... compare to DQ250, there's a lower ceiling so proceed with caution loh fyi my polo 1.2 tsi using racechip pro, initially i was using it at max setting (7) max setting is fun my stock figures are 105ps 175nm, i went dyno 109ps 202nm on wheel (ron95) now i'm on 5 for the pass 2 weeks, better fuel mileage & smoother gear changing at low speeds |

QUOTE(deadmau5 @ Aug 26 2012, 10:01 PM) Actually we have 2 golfs & a beetle already, just didn't expect eos to depreciate more than 15% a year it's quite a rare model, and not much demands for this either (handling wise it's not as good as cc, rocco & golf)that could explain the price drop, as u might see mk5 gti pricing is still not dipping much This post has been edited by fr0sti3: Aug 27 2012, 05:46 AM |

QUOTE(andy_heartless @ Aug 28 2012, 12:45 AM) There r too many workshops in sunway i dont know which one is good n not too expensive. Can u recommend me any paint shops that u know? Thanks. just saw your pics paint definitely is peel/rip of those spots, touch up paint from vw will dobut it won't be perfect smooth finish like fresh from oven on the plus side i think that part of the car is not metal, so rust won't be an issue |
