Lucky la those who buy these bug now. I think it will take VW some time to introduce Beetle 4th generation. They can enjoy 3rd generation longer

just realize something. the new 1.2 beetle already got touch screen RCD510 and leather seat?? then they might use RNS510 for 2.0.

Went up by RM2,000, but now it also comes with 17' rims and sunroof. Definitely worth it.

DSG gearbox is known to have mechatronic problems, but aside from that the Golf itself is quite reliable.

Yeah.. Due to our weird duties and tax structure..the Beetle being a "coupe" will attract higher tax. I think this is the main reason why VAG decided to offer only the 1.2 for now, to remain competitively priced. Sad.

for the dimension, I thought you are referring to Fiesta hatch but actually the 4278mm is actually referring to Fiesta Sedan.... the bug is using the same platform as the Golf, Eos and Scirroco, likely their dimension will be almost identical (except jetta with a boot)

Any of u guys face problem where cat go into your engine bay.. I found lot of cat fur under my hood and certain parts of the engine... That day 1 kitten died because of this.. My prediction is the fellow was dreaming nicely inside the engine bay and when he felt the heat he jumped down and got smashed by my behind tire..

I just put moth balls (ubat gegat) inside the engine bay.. My fren said cats don't like the smell of it..

Any of u guys face this kind of issue?

i did a booking for Dasauto show, but missed it due to family outing today.. too bad..

nice car but it will be very niche like the Mini.. practicality still top the list for most malaysians but the rear room n bootspace isnt spetacular.. its a car to boost the company's branding, but the main hot selling models are still the polo, golf, jetta n passat.. (have a strong feeling that passat is the best selling model in VW msia)

i didnt go to last year's das auto show but this years show was quite good, can see they put alot of money into it n ur paying a premium for the beetle. lol. dancers, singer, stunt drivers, celebrities, etc. the new beetle design looks good. long waiting list i think.
