No matter how fast or how quick your car is, there is always something out there that is faster, or someone with more testosterone.

Truth.

Just my 2 sen.

If you are looking for a GTI, then get the Mk6. If you're content with a TSI, then get the Mk7.

Mk7 TSI will arrive (and be launched) within Q1 2013. GTI should be late Q3, early Q4.

That is a local PGTI sold by VGM but with some slightly different specifications.

The Jetta, Passat, and Polo Sedan will have CKD. No dates yet, though.

DSG issue is a DSG issue; nothing to do whatsoever with a supercharger. With the Mk7 using the same DQ200 box that the Mk6 (and several other VW cars) is a relief to myself as an existing owner. This means that either:
1. Prevailing problems will continue to be worked on (big whew for me).
2. They've found a way to remedy the issue.

Just my 2 cents.

QUOTE(JayYeong39 @ Apr 21 2013, 08:46 PM)
Good days everyone smile.gif I have question regarding on my polo gti.
The fuel consumption is quite high, ron95 RM70 runs about 340km++ . Is this normal?
*
You must be a heavy footer, like me. Your FC looks about right. I average about RM78 per tank, and get between 380km-420km. On a long distance trip to SG, I managed 430km with one bar left to red; cost me about RM72 for that.

I calculate mine a little differently, in a way that makes sense (at least to myself).

How much fuel pumped, to how much distance traveled. So, I calculate FC each time I fuel up; based on how much distance I traveled to how much fuel I put into my car.
