Hello, I'm normally a desktop user but my parents has plans to bring my current CPU for their office use.

1. Preferred brand : any Brand
2. Budget : <RM 2500
3. Usage : Internet Browsing, Top rated games (may be graphic-heavy), comfortable for paper work
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : Does not matter, as long as comfortable.

Also, would like to ask the best place to buy laptops (honest customer service), I don't mind to buy online too. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for your kindness! notworthy.gif

Haha, thx for the info. I'm not really in a hurry, but since I never really cared about resolution before, I really don't mind having a laptop with 1366x768 (actually this is my current laptop resolution on 14" though). As long as I can get a nice gaming laptop before 25/8 (Guild Wars 2) tongue.gif

I don't think I can go for the fullhd because it is totally out of my budget.. My original budget was planned for a lenovo y480. Wanted to buy the lenovo y580 because the price for an upgraded y480 is the same as the y580 with same specs as the upgraded y480 but with a bigger screen + bigger hdd + slightly better gpu.. So might as well buy the y580.. ;3.. While the external monitor is something I would like to buy during November/December...

The FUllHD version of the Y580 is available already brows.gif

What do you mean by upgrading the Y480? What do you intend to upgrade?
Y580 is much better in terms of graphic performance if that's what you're asking..

Lenovo U410 is a totally different category than the Y480/580 oh... its more geared towards portability and slimness. Don't expect it to perform as good as the Y480/Y580, its not even close at all tongue.gif

only don't have the retina display... if upgrade ram to 8GB 1600MHz + Windows Pro... should be around RM3K... weight of Y480 is 2.2kg... btw... this 14inch compared to RMBP
