Spec wise - It's not as good as A45VM. The spec is rather old.

As for the price, is it final at RM2k? If it is, its better to take A45VM for newer technology smile.gif
Maybe you can squeeze out some freebies from him? tongue.gif

HI guys. I suddenly have a feeling Dell 15R SE may not live up to my need. I am not an avid gamer but would need to have Dota 2 played at full fps high settings without sudden spikes etc. But im not sure whether 15R SE can deliver that.

So looking for another 15.6 inch laptop with gpu GT650M ? And below 2.5k budget ? IS there any ? If not need to opt for Y480.

Why would you have that feeling? hmm.gif
Dota 2 is not exactly graphic demanding. The AMD HD7730M is more than enough to play at high settings.
Spikes in game are due to internet connection usually.

in Notebookcheck HD 7730 seems to underperform compared to GT650. Underperforming frmo 15% to almost 50% in some games. Then i was thinking that it might not be what i want.

My current laptop is a turion x2 rm-72 with ATI HD3200. Sometimes it cannot even handle the pressure of full team fights causing few seconds of lag when playing just dota 1. This is what i worried about if getting 15R SE when playing dota2. ><

I will look more into Dell 15R SE. thanks PhungTM ! =)

EDIT: Moreover.... i saw the fps framerate on ultra settings for some older games was a bit ><. I want a constant 60fps for dota2 but can't find any games similar to those mentioned in notebookcheck. Lastly.... when i saw the fps rate was by a Dell 15R SE. Makes me even more >< haha.

Price - 15R SE cause its the cheapest
Spec- Y580 since it has a GTX-level GPU
Price/Performance- Y580
Durability- depends on how user takes care of his/her laptop
Temperature- All laptops will get hot when on load
Warranty- Dell

Think i should go for Y580, even know i prefer Asus more. Just shame that Asus lose to lenovo on design, spec and price.. Anyone know where i can get this laptop at Sibu?
