Just get a Lenovo Y480, and use the remaining money to throw in an SSD, extend/ upgrade warranty to 3 years on-site, and get an OS

Those Dell you mentioned are no match for the Y480/580
Y580 is a lot more powerful than the Y480, but larger and bulkier instead

If you're going for Lenovo, better opt for on-site warranty, which is much better than normal carry-in warranty 

What do you mean by upgrading the Y480? What do you intend to upgrade?
Y580 is much better in terms of graphic performance if that's what you're asking..

Lenovo U410 is a totally different category than the Y480/580 oh... its more geared towards portability and slimness. Don't expect it to perform as good as the Y480/Y580, its not even close at all

U410 is an ultrabook - Basically used for simple daily tasks (office, web surfing, watching movies etc.). Its build with slimness and portability in mind, at the expense of performance.

Y480/580 are multimedia machines - Weight is not really a concern here. They are designed to offer good CPU/GPU performance, and not to mention relatively better cooling systems and great speakers as well.

So at the end of the day, you need to decide what you want
Would you rather sacrifice performance for lightness, or vice versa

U must tell the reason u must get Y580 lo, if add 8gb ram will similar close to Y580, no ppl will buy Y580, am i right? If u not urgent to get, just wait for few months later wait the price drop lo...

you could try pm this seller... to check if he have Y580FHD... Y580 & Y480 comes with 2 years international warranty... but the seller do sell upgrade to 3 years ONSITE warranty (only applicable in Malaysia but outside Malaysia will be normal warranty which you need to send in your unit to the service center)
