My Maxis Fiber internet is down for 2 days. I had tried to restart both of the maxis Thomas and TM ZTE 931DII modem. The problem still remain the same. The ZTE 931DII modem keep restarting when the DSL cable in plugged.

Once the DSL cable is plugged into ZTE modem, the DSL light is flashing slow around 10 seconds then flashing fast around 10 seconds then the modem automatically restart. This problem keep looping.

If the DSL cable is unplugged, then the modem work as normal. I had tried to change another DSL cable, the problem is same.

Any one facing this problem? Any solution? Thanks

There is only Power, Wireless and Broadband light on, all green colour. I think the problem is on the TM ZTE modem or the port. Any solution? My internet is down since Tuesday but my bill is still running... cry.gif

Complaint to maxis on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday. Everyday told me got technical team will call me back within 24 hours but i got no call from them. Dunno how long time have to wait...

Yes. Logged in to Thompson, everything is ok down there.

Expected. Really hope can directly contact TM technical but my fiber services is under Maxis. One of the CS told me they will waive my bill if the service is down, is that correct?

I get rebate from Maxis due to 5-6days downtime, my modem unable to connect, its give error "Concentrator not reachable".

If anyone facing downtime, you may request for rebate.

Below is CFM reply regarding my complaint.

I saw a lot of you complaining about the maxis fiber.. but seem like ok to me.. so far (2 months) it has been served me well except the wireless, where sometime the devices connected but there is no connection to the internet.. which is not a big problem to me as im using LAN.. i think i still need to launch a complain so they can change the router for me maybe?..

They said i dont get the previous offer of RM 118 but they will rebate my bill from RM 148 to RM 118.

Great to see that. Actually I wish to have to internet service rather than they waive from my bill. I need internet for work. Is that anyway to push them to solve the problem?

I think you meant to post this in unifi thread. Anyway to answer - you , nope. Its been locked down. The unit is firewalled and it will drop all external connection once iptables rules are set up.

unifi still no quota, they wan to impose quota?

no worry, I doubt they got the guts to impose quota.

anyway, their operator called me just now to confirm my installation next week.
I shouted at him
"cancelled edi la, why u call?
go check with your CS ref number Cxxxxxxxx
I am sleeping you know?

poor guy,

I'm going to call maxis cs to postpone my installation date liao...suppose to install next Thursday but after reading all users review and complaint then suddenly someone said maxis going to implement the FUP next week.... sweat.gif
If really they start the FUP next week, then I'll cancel it for sure. whistling.gif
seriously maxis... many users problems haven't solve and now u gonna implement FUP. maxis really think that after FUP start al those problems that users having now can be solve automatically???? what if those problem can't be solve after maxis implement FUP? hmm.gif

Guys, need some help here.

I'm staying in a landed property. I used to subscribe to TM where I have telephone line connected in my whole house. I have 3 phones in my house for convenience.

After subscribing to Maxis, I try to use a splitter and connect it to one of my phone plug in the living room. Only the main line connecting to the splitter can be used and my other phone line can't connect to the maxis voip (make or received any calls). Is there any way to overcome this problem?

Thanks..

You need Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) with 3 telephone ports so that you can connect all of your 3 phones into that adapter and connect that adapter into Thomson VoIP phone port.

Reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analog_telephone_adapter

Easiest way, buy ATA with 2 telephone ports and connect your 2 phones into it and connect the ATA into Phone1 port at Thomson router. For the third phone, you have to use the stock Maxis FTTH phone plug into the Phone2 port at Thomson router so that you have 3 phones all connected in your house (2 existing phones, 1 Maxis FTTH phone). Don't forget to configure your Phone2 port at Thomson router before you can use it. tq
