increasing your own atk spd does not increase your hydra's damage, as its damage is based on your base weapon dmg and int

i pretty sure it will, unless u confirm the damage display on our character menu will not affect our spell dmg (atk spd do affect ur dmg display on character menu)

the damage displayed on your character board is your average dps, meaning around that dmg will be dealt if you attack for one second. on the other hand the damage you see you do is only affected by your base dmg and primary stats.

from http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5150757589
--Spell Bonus--
Magic Missile then comes into effect, and deals damage specified it by its spell effect, listed as 110% under the skill. So it takes the damage listed in your inventory screen, and does 110%. If you did 100 damage, MM will hit for 110 damage.

well, juz literary explanation from this example, might still be wrong

nope. you try unequip a skill slot, meaning that it will do 100% of your dmg. then you use magic missle = 110%, you will see what i mean

hahaha i can see u didnt read the descriptions tongue.gif

each kill in archon mode will add 1 seconds to the activation time, thus prolonging the archon mode smile.gif love to use this when there is so many freaking monsters coming at me wave by wave.

Whatever you see in the item description is your damage.

Thou they said with 2 handed hand weapon your aspd is slower thus your AP consume is lesser then 1 handed weapon.

It makes no sense that att speed increase dmg, unless is in a ideal situation where mob stand there let u free hit or other character that can continue spam skill which we call DPS. Instead of looking at the info display by the game, i think the best way is to see the dmg done on mob itself. I dont think attack speed can do higher damage on mob in single hit compare to int.

its not logical for atk speed to increase your dmg. if u mean faster atk speed let u do dmg to mobs faster then okay

just put it in this way.
if you put 1 100 int ring, then the damage number that you actually do to a monster per hit = 100% more of base dmg.
if you put 1 10% atk spd ring, the damage number you do to a monster per hit is the same, but you atk 10% faster.

if you have high base dmg and low atk spd, atk spd adds more to dps and vice versa.

wrong, DPS factors in attack speed and crits, but logically you cant use DPS as your actual damage because most of the time, especially in inferno mode, you wont be spending the entire second damaging.
