correct me if wrong, i think that figure is probably due to major parts replacements like absorbers etc if required right? otherwise, if may be lower.
*
I think so.
My father use 406.He said absorber for 406 if not mistaken around 600++ for 1.
If times 4 seems like 2400++.
If no need to change at 60k, then -2400++.
Maybe i'm wrong.

the amount spent for the 60k service interval is bumped up because of several items that are not changed in the earlier intervals.

so in the 3rd year, you will need to change these stuff that are not changed earlier: air filter, plugs, fuel filter, atf (big $$), brake fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, water pump, alternator belt and tensioner.

so, there are actually quite a lot of items involved with the atf being the most costly. for minor items, some people change earlier. things like filters etc. if done earlier at maybe 55,000km and only the atf kept for the 60,000km, it will bring down the cost significantly. not sure if the guys at the sc will allow it though but you can ask.

Tks for your explanation bro lowpro. The 3.6k cost for 60km service makes more sense now. Bros here and myself were under the impression the 3.6k was for fluid change only, which is more than expensive. Even if you were to take into account the 6 spd tranny, how much more is an additional litre or two of ATF going to cost? . We now know apart from fluids there are parts too.

the 4-speeders use peugeot's own atf but the 6-speeders use aisin (toyota) which already costs more. the cost is made much higher as it is sent from japan to france and then to malaysia.

Saw a black color (or it is blue) 408T near Puchong Perdana traffic light today around noon time, bearing license plate "WXA XXXX". My first sighting of 408 OTR, belongs to anyone here? rclxms.gif

Welcome bro,I could not decide between the bronze and blue. Drove to a few centres to view the bronze, could not see any and finally took the blue. Somehow I think I still like the bronze better. Btw as soon as you've decided, update owner list.
Just to let you know,I've had my car for over a month. Everything works fine. Power from the turbo is simply addictive! Lion wants to be unleashed all the time, hehehe! Sometimes I only realise I'm doing 170kmh when the car gets a bit bouncy due to our bad road conditions. You have made a good choice by going turbo. thumbup.gif
Have one issue, faint rattle from back door at high speed. Will have it looked at soon.

Yeah, heard that from my SA too. Apparently bronze not in demand. Goosh, I should have taken it when I had the chance, would be unique if not many on the road!

Can you explain what they mean by Peugeot shuttle service.

let's say you have to leave your car there for a bit of time, the shuttle service is like a bus service and the shuttle plies the route as given in the table. shows what time the car is at the particular spot and what time it leaves. you can hop in and go to the nearest public transport hub or mall if it is in the list.

You mean your car will be available for you to pickup at the spot and time mentioned. How do they do this, on a trailer and moving around?

Hehehe......ok! Btw bro, blue shows dirt very easily. Like even rain spots will show easily. So have to wipe down almost daily. I think white may be easier to maintain.
