Haha, maybe will test drive one day.. got new car already no extra for this...

Ya just test drive and feel what it has to offer. I actually fell for this 2 years ago. That time the Prince engine was putting out 140hp mated with 4 speed gearbox. For the 408 it has evolved pushing out 163hp mated with 6 speed gearbox. The result - poetry in motion!
This engine has amazing potential. Won European Engine Award for 4 consecutive years! Different versions are already in use in different cars.

Anyone got try to drive close to 200km/hr so far? Can really reach that 215km/hr (assuming safety is not in question here) magic figure? Got floating feel when doing anything more than 180km/hr?

I took it up to 180kmh. No flooty feel, rock steady! The power was smooth and effordless. whistling.gif The Lion just wants to chew up the hwy! But our roads are so lousy, the car was very bouncy so did not go any higher.Traffic also is quite heavy at hwy to Seremban so not safe. Pulled back to 140kmh which was a lot more comfortable. Will try LEKAS hwy,a lot quieter there, but have to find an excuse to leave my wife at home, hehehe! biggrin.gif

True dat! I know the feeling of a "bumpy" ride. I wonder if going for a higher profile or "softer" tyres will help or not. Google research says suspension tuning and tyre profile will help. But, I guess no need for these type of mods for a new car lah, why burn more hole in the pocket cry.gif

I have driven on LEKAS hw before, quiet and a lot of long straight road to power your ride. Best highway to do speed testing. Car handling best tested on the NSE, after the Ipoh - Jelapang tol, that's the killer stretch of road to test your car handling. And of course, Genting also very good for pick-up and power testing, beside car handling...

Best not to speed lah... tongue.gif

Ya I'll change to normal profile later. That should help a bit. Anyway don't want get caught by speed traps,so will not speed that much. Good to have the acceleration when required. Anyway, very satisfied with the cars performance! No regrets! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Let's hear from our NA bros. What max speed have you done? How does the car handle the speed? Does our poor road condition have bouncy effect at high speed?

I had my 2.5K inspection last Monday at Balakong SC. Almost 3 hours to complete. I didn't observe much as most of the time my car was idle there. They told me that the next service is when the mileage reach 12.5K. They wrote it in the service booklet. Should I wait until 12.5K or exactly at 10K for next service? Any advise from sifu here? Tq
