I had my 2.5K inspection last Monday at Balakong SC. Almost 3 hours to complete. I didn't observe much as most of the time my car was idle there. They told me that the next service is when the mileage reach 12.5K. They wrote it in the service booklet. Should I wait until 12.5K or exactly at 10K for next service? Any advise from sifu here? Tq

I was told it should be 10k or 6 months whichever come first.

True. The girl told me that they have top up the engine oil but I doubt it can last until 12.5K.

I'm very surprised they told you next service is 12.5k. Even more surprised that they wrote this in the service booklet. Better reconfirm cos you'll loose warranty if you exceed 10k on your next service.

If you exceed 10.5k or 6 months + 2 weeks on your next service, which ever come first, you loose warranty! This is stated in the warranty plan booklet.

100% correct skyjack! i think that person who wrote the wrong note in the service book should get lessons on how to read a service book! how can they say that! so, coming back to the next service, it should be like this:

First service of 10,000km is 6 months from date of registration or at 10,000km whichever comes first and not 10,000km added to the first 2,500km inspection.

After your 10,000km service, your next service is calculated 10,000km from the last mileage or 6 months (whichever comes first). So if you serviced at 9,200km for the 10,000km interval, your next service is 19,200km. if late also, max is add 500km more so it will be 19,700km.

Also be careful of the months. It must be 6 months per service even though your usage could be low.

Well I hope our bro understands this and not loose warranty due to a stupid staff! Lucky he mentioned it here and is getting the warning from us. I also hope he is damn mad and gives the stupid staff a good screwing! It will be such a loss to void 5 year warranty!

Research says suspension tuning, tyre profile then strut bars...after getting the handling right, autoforming enhance comfort and NVH...

Black 408 2.0 here. smile.gif

Full tank about 52 liters = RM 98.80 (total capacity = 60 liters).

For mostly city drive, fuel consumption = 11.5 liter/ 100 km. Can run about 52/11.5 x 100 = 452 km.
For mostly highway drive, fuel consumption = 8.3 liter/ 100 km. Can run about 52/8.3 x 100 = 627 km.

yea, i read from kensomuse.com early, not much info about fc and maintainance though, and it mentioned something about RM3.6k during 60,000 km maintanance, is that true?

thanks for the fc info from 408t and 2.0, keep the info rolling in rclxms.gif

Sorry, no info on the FC because I've not had the liberty of being given the media car yet. As for the maintenance, the RM3,600 for 60,000km is correct.

correct me if wrong, i think that figure is probably due to major parts replacements like absorbers etc if required right? otherwise, if may be lower.
