finally bought Alphamax A0845 outdoor water filter. RM 2399 with lifetime warranty for body, 3yrs warranty for stainless steel valve (they claim its free upgrade during the promo and worth rm300). Installation included.

The salesman claim no maintenance required except the backwash every 2 weeks. I'm google and the info correct eventhough some other salesman mention that not logic if totally no maintenance for water filter. Its make sense but salesman counter back saying that different sand type they using and how the unit perform backwash. top down. I'm happy as long no rusty color water coming into my house and manufacturer willing to give longer warranty. That mean they confident with the product.

Initial want to buy AP902 or Nesh membran but after considering cost of maintenance and water pressure concern, i choose this alphamax.

As we know got 3 type of outdoor water filter. My priority is unit that not filtering chlorine (afraid my tank getting worst) and less maintenance. I'm target to used at least 10 yrs. so its about RM 240 per year. Acceptable cost for me.
Maybe those who already used this brand can also comment their experience. So whoever survey outdoor water filter  may consider this product or not..

Actually we did discuss about this before, why some stainless steel sand filter so cheap and why some so expensive.
When a product is too cheap compared to normal market price, usually i will be extra careful and check the details.

When i click on the water-filter.com i could not find the detail information on the filters. May be i overlook it or it wasnt there. For perfect steel, here is the online catalog, if compare it is the same as Alphamax original models

What is the benefit of using stainless steel or fiber?

Previously one of my customers replace his fibre filter with perfect steel stainless steel series and this is why

3M is cheap (depending where u r buying it). We are having promotion for 3M water filter, indoor + outdoor water filter for less than RM 2k. This is how small the filter is

It is not recommended to have carbon as well for landed properties to protect our water tank from bacteria. You can consider perfect steel sand filter
