Anybody can share is the bacfree outdoor model good?
i saw in the fair, is expensive, but no worry on maintenance wit 5yr + water quality guarantee.

Also, those membrane filter that filter up 0.01, virus is removed, but what happen to good mineral?

Appreciate your reply.

Getting pure water are good at any 1 time.
You will be happy on spending money on supplements and visit specialist often whistling.gif
I'm a cheapskate, I prefer to waste money on vacation, buying audio stuffs but never visit a specialist nor keep on buying supplements to stay healthy.
I only have a simple sand filter for outdoor unit and a carbon filter for drinking water(that boil it).
Everyday I wasted 30-45 minutes on nearby man made lake walking.

That why i still prefer sand filter.
After some study, membrane technology is for "clean" water filtering, use for hospital (non-bacteria env) & certain industry that need "clean" water.

For industrial use, indeed they need clean water.
As for hospital, it is for hygienic reason.
Our body need some contaminant to stay healthy.

Hi vendors, I'm looking for outdoor water filter for budget below than RM1500. I stay at Puchong  which facing the water pressure issue and yellowish water too. I already have the eSpring for drinking water, I just need a general water filter to have clean water supply for whole unit.

Please recommend.

You may go to hardware shop to source such filter. Should be rm500-800. Then look for Indon/Bangla workers that know piping work. Pay them rm50.

Looking for Outdoor Filter for washing tonnes of clothes (not drinking) with these:
Backwash function
Water pressure will not drop after years of usage
No require electricity to power
Low cost
easy/cheap to maintain
Durable
Easy to DIY service, no need to call serviceman.

Any recommendation with pricing?

Btw any membran vs sand pros and cons comparison?

A rm400-600 sand filter will do the job. Pressure drop high is due to the filter blocked, so doing back flush will do the trick thumbup.gif

Hi guys, any recommendation for sand filter? I prefer not to have carbon coz it wares out after some time unless it is replaced with fresh carbon right?
*
Just get the normal fiber sand filter type will do. Make sure it is using dark color, blue are nice thumbup.gif
Using carbon or activated carbon filter are not a good idea sweat.gif
Using outdoor filter that boast can remove all impurities are more dangerous as it is a good algae and bacteria growth.
Carbon filter you need to regenerate it every now and then. You need to use acid and alkaline to do the job. Safer will be using vinegar and salt but less effective.

too long to read... rclxub.gif

seeking for outdoor water filter owner here that recommend the unit you using (affordable price  notworthy.gif )

Basically any rm300-1000 sand filter are good enough already. If your incoming water too clean, it will promote algae growth on the stagnant parts.

Oh!! No wonder our incoming water so colorful... Syabas is prevending algae growth =O
*
Well, Syabas's water only using simple filtration and adding chlorine. So we need to filter any solid dirt before entering our house.
We only need "clean" water for drinking unless having skin issues on the water used for bath.

Noted, thanks a lot (imagine taking bath with the brownish water everyday :/ ) and my drinking water filter turn brownish within 2-3days

Some traces of chlorine won't give trouble, but getting pure H2O sure will make us spend more money on hospitals whistling.gif

What are the problems if install UF membrane filter with 0.01 micron? Plan to get one outdoor filter but not really keen on sand filter.

Is good to get "clean" water where you filter out from outdoor unit as you are promoting green in the pipes thumbup.gif
Like everybody says : go green rclxm9.gif
