The pictures above told the whole story. As i bought the laptop on that day, it immediately got issue on temperature. When i walk-in to the Asus Service center, i am attended with a young technician. As i thought  that is  this young technician can handle my case????  Did he qualified??? Frankly speaking, i totally got  no confidence on that young man. The technician just roughly take a look on the laptop and said that nothing can be done by now due to no parts at the moment and need to send the parts from KL. And i asking for new unit replacement due to i  just bought this laptop few days back and is really unfair to me cos i bought this laptop few days back. then i asking for person in charge. The technician answer me that the manager is out for lunch. Later around 15min, the manager came back. Wow...... The look of the manager are more worst..... This guy is in around late 20's, untidy cloths, red hair and the hand with tattoo, it seems like rockstar or a tai kor gangster. The Manager named RICKY. But any way i still bring out my cases see that is he got any better solution for me. But.... with Roughly, he answer me that nothing he can do to me, cos the his boss from KL not to allow his to do this and that... Any thing i request, he just push the responsibility to KL. At the end..... I have to let them screw on my new bought laptop. What type of spare parts that they gonna use???? After market spare parts??? Re-cond parts??? Who know??? But what i really sure is my laptop never gonna be the same any more. My laptop no longer in new. My laptop been screwed-up.

As what i see today, I feel that there is no quality on Asus. Who can believe that a new laptop got temperature issue.... This must be a used or Re-cond laptop.

About their service, OMG, i think they should employed qualified technician to handle on the warranty case. Or maybe they should hire gangster to fully in charge on their Service Centre. So nobody dare to walk-in to their Service Centre and they can Reach 0% complain.

As conclusion, I vote NO CONFIDENCE ON ASUS PRODUCT.

It's a good thing that I am not buying any Asus laptop. I'm shopping for a laptop, and it looks like I'll be buying a Lenovo laptop.

Thanks for posting your bad experience about Asus laptop and their technical support. It'll warn many people to stay away from their laptops.

You might want to take a look at illegear. I was planning on getting a G75 but with the tidak apa attitude from Asus am considering getting something else. Maybe an G75 from illegear or RS-17.
Just worried about the build quality though.
Asus has very good reviews overseas & their build quality is pretty good but in Malaysia, their CS is a little slow.

Since this thread is quite alive wanna ask. So say if I bought a laptop a year ago. Supposingly I have 2 year warranty. Recently got problem with my lapppie can't turn on. Can I send it to warranty at Asus ? Eventhough I did not register online for their Asus Global and other stuff? Worst part is I lost the receipt. sad.gif

ACER and ASUS! both are popular brand to be blame on!! haha

i bought ASUS product many times.starting from 2008...and till now so far the items i bought from them dont have any defect yet..so far cant said about their service yet..haha...my last ASUS N56VZ give to my wife. and currently im using ASUS G55VW. and my last ACER 4570G give to my little bro.

indeed i heard so many people said DELL service is great. unfortunate the design of their product not in my field of interest. luckily my asus thingy dont hv problem yet.

i am having bad experince on asus..i've bought asus G55V and only use it for 3 weeks..bcoz of BSOD..n then i sent my laptop to asus customer service at low yatt for them to fix the problem..n they asked me to wait about a month bcoz they found another problem about the screen.and then after 2 month of waiting, they promise me to replace with new laptop with same model.but at last after waiting almost 2 and half months, they said that they need more time for me to wait it..and finally i decided to refund my money back..it is so irritating when we have to wait for nothing..and now, i am wait for the dealer to call me that i can collect my money. i hate this kind of service. Asus laptop is excellent but when ur Asus laptop have problem, prepare to face the shit of Service after sale/s ASUS. sory for my Bad English

From what I see here, the main problem seems to be Asus Service Center.
I'm thinking of getting an Asus G75 from illegear. So far, I haven't heard any horror stories about them yet.
