I don't think this is fair to criticise the Asus Malaysia customer service on this tongue.gif
The most likely explanation is that the Customer Service handling the email don't know. Customer Service don't know because the Product guy don't tell them / don't want to tell them / also don't know / waiting for stocks to clear before launching new model ... laugh.gif

Actually, their reply to my question on when they will be bringing in the TB equipped laptops was
"we will not be bringing them in"

On the bright side, someone on the ROG forum had their G73 replaced with a G75 after RMA. Which means we still do have some good guys at the Asus CS. Wish we had more of them.

If you are very keen on Thunderbolt, just be a little bit patience smile.gif Haswell is going to support Thurderbolt natively, so I suspect more high end laptop models launch later this year with Haswell will come with Thunderbolt as standard.

actually its not so much a thunderbolt issue than a customer service issue. My big worry is that if I do buy an Asus & there is a problem, the Customer Service isn't too helpful.

Well, if you are in Malaysia, and you are someone who appreciate good customer service, you should not think about Asus at all laugh.gif (well unless you live in JB, in which case you could bring your laptop to SG for service smile.gif )

Just email your complain to ASUS TW. confirm tomorrow you will get phone call from ASUS MY regarding your case. I'm doing this since 4 months no news from them even though every 2 days I'll call SC for status.
At last, they replace me with a new one [NOT REALLY OUT OF BOX, maybe display item since got scratched sad.gif ]

Well Asus does not provide take away the laptop when the part still no reach service?
Now my Y480 facing screen got line problem, then the part need wait until next week only reach.
Since the laptop still can be use with external monitor then I take away back my laptop first, once the part reach they will call me and go back to exchange the screen

what im trying to say here, its about the bad asus warranty service... i also using asus laptop now, last time i sent for warranty, after they repaired and i receive my laptop, other thing happened like when charging, got sound after fully charged, before it doesnt happened.and for my sd memory card slot cover ,when i sent for warranty,it still there, after received then when home,i just noticed it lost. so im really fed up, i dont give a damn anymore. now still using it since no problem happened until now. but for the next time if i wanna buy laptop,no more asus.

no offend..

Well,I just bought my ASUS A45VM-VX113V on January 2013.And now its on ASUS REPAIR CENTRE!
I only use it fro chatting and doing some research.assignment.I never use it for games.
I only used it for 2 months and the hard disk is burnt!
The worst is I stay over Sarawak, they need to send it back to KL for repair.
Now,I only can pray that they would send it back to me ASAP! rclxub.gif
