as a customer, you have the rights to screw the person which gives you a bad service. you should screw them with the last question, "i paid you 4k, and i get a laptop that needs to send in for repair every time. if you were i, will you buy this kind of laptop? NOT RIGHT?". screw them with everything you have.

but since you dont know how to screw, try ask your friend?

Do you mean those PadPhone? Then, yes, baby, yes sweat.gif
The thing about Asus services is, it really depends on spare part stocks, replace set availability, and a huge does of divine intervention laugh.gif
I don't think Asus sell feature (non-smart) phone like Nokia???

the asus service center here in kuching does provide a good after sales service. they even explained to me in detail what is the problem with my laptop. and they told me beforehand that it will only take few hours or only 1 day to fix my laptop, but the problem lies with availability of the hardware. as for my case, the thermal fan need to be ordered and it took me like 5 freaking weeks to arrive. but luckily the guy just issued a receipt but I keep my laptop and will notify me if the fan has arrived, which he indeed notified me.

Okay ..so I bought 2 unit of ASUS G55VW both with the highest possible spec .. ( yea 24gb o RAM tongue.gif ) one for my dad and one for me with 3D .. hurm so my dad's lappy was working fine and mine was broken out of the box on the same day of purchase from Evernew ( Lowyat ) , then I sent it out to ASUS Service centre as the dealer told me it was not their fault and I should send it to the service centre , so I sent my G55 on 2/12/2012 and waited for their call which arrives on 22Dec ( damn long -.- ) and so I came all the way from Ipoh to lowyat on 24th Dec just to take the laptop which cost me 5k and when I reach there the tech guy came and brought my laptop and what a suprise ! the problem was not even solved ! So I rage over at the Service Centre and the guy told me I that he will fix it by Wednesday (today) . So i'm still waiting for that guy to call me and I did called asus and their staff told me to wait for their tech to call otherwise it is still not yet ready for collection and I was like ( WTF ) ?!

- Mainly my laptop is having a problem with keyboard failure which each button is used for different button ..for EX : you pressed ( 4 ) and it writes ( /4 ) and g -> ( g8 ) WTF right ?

- So the asus tech guy told me it was not the keyboard problem since they replaced the whole keyboard and it might be the Motherboard fault -.-

-----

So yeah I'm still waiting for their call right now .
PS: I love ASUS laptop it just that their after sale service is F*ked up

I have bought one padfone 2 in Malaysia. I accidentally make my pad station screen crack. After go asus centre in lowyat plaza 4th floor the customer service telling me that's not under warranty for LCD crack. Fine I'm understands it. Than she take my pad station go in inside office asking the price than she tell me the price 550 to repair it. Fine! I accepts and sign the receipt. After one day asus send me a quotation the price is 810 !!! I reply the email and say is not same price as I deal yesterday. she reply me got some miscommunication the price give me yesterday is phone LCD price not pad .  As i know New only sell 799 in market repair LCD need 810 .tat not a reasonable price. I would go take my item back this is first and last I buy the asus product. Asus after service really bad in Malaysia .

24GB of RAM is way overkill and expensive without giving much performance gain sweat.gif
Anyway, for notebooks with problems within 7 days, you can ask for 1-to-1 exchange nod.gif

Okay from my last post...the laptop was returned to me with the keyboard fixed but now it is having problem with the 3D function missing from the NVIDIA control panel..so they asked me to sent it and I did and I came back again to claim it ..and it is not fixed again..so I kinda raged at the service center and they said they'll try to get me an exchange .

Asus laptops are good but..once you encountered a problem that brings you to the service center then you're 80% f*ked up biggrin.gif

my adapter got exchange in less than one working days... i see some of the customers their laptop keep repaired for a few weeks at service centre there, some they cannot fix it they will give you new laptop (lazy to fix?)

but if the laptop is the only laptop you have and need service for a few weeks is totally cannot acceptable.

imo i think their service quality is person by person difference experience la... since they sell so much and so cheaply, the quality and things you get must equal to it la..

so cooperate pc = hp / dell
multimedia / home pc = asus
durability = lenovo thinkpad
best in built n finishes = macs

Me also have problem with asus warranty... last two week i send my asus Transformer tf201 to warranty due to Lcd flickering problem.. the guy at counter say: "we will repair your tablet ASAP and will be done as early as 3-7 days..."
then i say ok to him...
but until now its alrady 2 weeks that equal 14 days or 10 working days!! still no news from them...
i call the customer service twice...
1st call(which is last week) they say: "your tablet will be done as early as next week"
but when i call this week, the guy said: "we dont have the parts and it will need 3 weeks to import it FROM TAIWAN!"

WTH?!! why say can be done in 3 days if dont have part?!

n now i dont even believe my tablet can be completed in 3weeks..

so this is the last time i will buy a ASUS product...
I have a problem with my dell last time and they came to my house and fix it...
ASUS malaysia will have a big problem if they continue their business this way..

my wife's asus optimus notebook is giving problem again, yes, for the 2nd time. the first time it was due to motherboard problem. they fixed it, took more than a month. now 6 months have passed. the same problem is happening. such an unreliable brand. i have far better things to do than to fix a notebook. now i need to find time to visit that lousy service center. asus will be my first and last notebook.
