Yup its a better choice nod.gif. You need to pair 3570k with a good cooler though, i'm using hyper 212 evo & idle temp (4.3Ghz) around 41c~45c. Load was at 86c on highest core. Tested with 7-hours of prime95. no idea on stock cooler, once buy this proc str8 use custom cooler. tongue.gif

I would like to but my mobo limits my oc for now. imho hyper212+/evo can handle oc around 4.3~4.4Ghz. More than that you need a better cooler. For temperature, just keep your load temperature below 90c & it should be okay. smile.gif

F6 still don't give vcore setting.

Z77M-D3H no Vcore setting as per Manual (page 40 - only DRAM voltage).
Btw,

Using H100(ADDA Fans), temperature is
STOCK:
idle: 38c, max load: 65c.

Added on May 15, 2012, 8:49 amWill try and overclock later.

Yes, I saw Gigabyte posted F7 bios on their website last night.
However it was not available to download.
It seems they fixed the link this morning. Thanks for the link.

I didn't read the manual. And I hope the next bios will fix this (like what they did on the x58 mobo).
I'll run it at default voltage in long run anyway since it is for my HTPC.
Without the vcore, I just couldn't tell how far the chip can go. laugh.gif

Yes, this is not the right one for OC.
I'll dump it if I can't stand the itchiness for OC. laugh.gif

For Gigabyte Z77M(H) series and I beleive also Asus (and others low cost boards),NO Vcore are implemented in the BIOS. nod.gif

However,
I can do modified BIOS from Z77-D3H, (which have Vcore in BIOS) to flash your Z77M-D3H.
Atm,
I running BIOS for UD3H/UD5H on my mobo D3H.

For H77 series, yes, I can understand it doesn't need vcore.
But it's a bit no brainer to leave out vcore option in Z77 mobo.

I would be grateful if you could make me one customized bios. notworthy.gif

OK,
here is latest BIOS F13 for Z77-D3H, modified to be flash only for Z77M-D3H:
http://www.mediafire.com/?77baa5khd9pwwvb

Flash either with QFlash (prefered) or any GB flashing tools
BIOS,CPU-Z,ET6 and another software will show Z77-D3H.

Let me know (supose to have Vcore in BIOS).

Hi guys,anybody with Gigabyte Z68P-DS3 rev.2 or Z68AP-D3 (rev.2) and Ivy Brigde K-series?

Here is test Z68 AMI BIOS with unlocked multi for Ivy K-series (instruction how to flash included):

Z68P-DS3 (rev.2) - UA4

- 04.May 12

Z68AP-D3 (rev.2) - UA4

- 03.May 12

You MUST use FLASHEFI included in the file and type proper commands in DOS with Bootable USB Flash Drive to flash.
May need to use /Z or /X switches still, sometimes had to use with SPIFlash (Letter case matters too, so may need to try /Z or /z, ect).
http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/27576...lash-guide.html

This special FLASHEFI is for all Z68 motherboards,to be flashed with AMI BIOS,as all will get new BIOS ID code.
Good luck!

Feedback welcome.

Interesting on how a BIOS can be modded in this thread, in just 10 mins. Well done stasio! smile.gif

The bios is successfully flashed. It's detected as Z77-D3H.
However the setting is not running in actual.
I set 1.3v in bios and load with OCCT but the CPU-Z still show default vcore.

Could your mobo run in different core voltage with the modified bios?
Any idea?
