What ver.CPU-Z you have?
Try ET6 and what is in BIOS ("MIT" and "PC Healt Status")?.
Did you "Load Optimized Defaults" after flashing?

My Vcore is OK with any modded BIOS.

The bios is successfully flashed. It's detected as Z77-D3H.
However the setting is not running in actual.
I set 1.3v in bios and load with OCCT but the CPU-Z still show default vcore.

Could your mobo run in different core voltage with the modified bios?
Any idea?
*

afaik CPU-Z does not read vcore of Giga mobo correctly it's actually showing the VTT aka VCCIO

Yes, I loaded the default value after flashing.
The ET6 reported the same value as shown in CPU-Z.

By the way, you add the voltage at vcore or dynamic vcore?

Voltage for Vcore.I didn't play with DVID.
Can you check in BIOS "MIT" and "PC Healt Status".

I think that mobo itself (hardware) don't have posibility to increase Vcore (GIGABYTE All Digital Power Engine). hmm.gif

Last, you can try to increase Vcore with ET6 or GIGABYTE TweakLauncher (but I doubt). sad.gif

Yes, I think it is the hardware limitation.
I tried both vcore and DVID and it doesn't change the real voltage value.

I'm stuck at 4.3GHz then. laugh.gif

P/S By the way, just for your info, my PCIE1x slot is not usable with the modded bios.

So now,
you can flash back to original BIOS. sad.gif

Must have at least Z77-D3H (Z77MX-D3H) , to change Vcore.

Yes, it seems Z77M-DSH doesn't have "Gigabyte 3D Power".
Bad Gigabyte. doh.gif

I find "Intel system" is cracking down "overclocking at budget category".
My office PC, Nehalem/i3-540@4.6GHz is running well with Gigabyte H55M-SV.
Intel started "K" in Sandy Bridge.
Now with IB, the Z77 budget mATX looks like a joke now. laugh.gif

I don't want to spend money on expensive board. I use it for HTPC. It delivers more than enough power for my HTPC applications.

If I were to change the mobo, I'd rather sell my i5-3570K and get i7-3770K (heard it can run 4.8GHz at default voltage) laugh.gif

Yes, very good board. Im not planning to OC much, but
stock setting my temperature is 68c with H100's fan @ 50% spin
OC to 4.2(First attempt straight away success) no need to tweak voltage(around 1.168v) and my temperature just 73c with h100's fan @ 50% spin only, rclxms.gif

My room is so hot because sun direct from my window, imagine aircond room, i think my temperature 60c only brows.gif (Too bad air cond spoiled)

Thinner and the width also shorter, careful if you put the rams, coz it will bend inward sweat.gif .

For Gigabyte Z77M(H) series and I beleive also Asus (and others low cost boards),NO Vcore are implemented in the BIOS.  nod.gif

However,
I can do modified BIOS from Z77-D3H, (which have Vcore in BIOS) to flash your Z77M-D3H.
Atm,
I running BIOS for UD3H/UD5H on my mobo D3H.

Sorry to interrupt here. For the OverClockers information, ASUS P8Z77-V and above all have VCore adjustment. At least from my own internal testing. Will try to find out the the lowest end, P8Z77-V LX has it or not once i got it here in office. Cheers.

I wrote to Gigabyte to ask about the availability of vcore setting on Z77M-D3H.

This is the reply from Gigabyte. Classic!
