QUOTE(ZaiNor-DI255 @ Feb 24 2013, 09:35 AM) Its normal if u clock ur proc at high frequency. how much overclock ur processor and how much is the core voltage? easier if u post your cpu-z reading I'm currently at work. Will post it later. But last night i've stressed my CPU to 4.7++GHz on 1.405v using Prime95.

QUOTE(ZaiNor-DI255 @ Feb 24 2013, 11:50 AM) its normal then. u might have to upgrade to a better cooling to lower ur temp Actually,i'm using stock bigwater A80 thermal paste..should i change?

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Feb 24 2013, 12:13 PM) Actually,i'm using stock bigwater A80 thermal paste..should i change? yup. u should change ur TP. suggest the Tuniq TX-4, arctic mx-4 or if u can find it, the coollaboratary liquid pro or liquid ultra. if u read some post b4, some ppl see abot 3~10C temp changes using the liquid ultra/pro which is quite a lot. anyway, goodluck This post has been edited by ZaiNor-DI255: Feb 25 2013, 11:20 AM

muhiann | 3570K | 4.6GHZ | MSI Z77A-G43 | Corsair hydro h100i [attachmentid=3321795]
Finally i can get this speed and much more lower temp.using maximum voltage available on this mobo. this after i realize i not put waterpump backplate in correct position so contact to cpu not evenly. now i fix it already so my h100i now running in full performance to make my oc more higher.

Good job bro. Orientation is important for AIO watercoolers like H100i. List updated.

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Feb 27 2013, 07:58 PM) Noob here... 4.7GHz succeeded.. Nice try but that's not really a successful overclock. You are hitting TJmax of 105C so the speed is throttled down. Besides that your GFlops is way too low like running dual core only. Try low frequency ie 4.2-4.5GHz and lower vCore to reduce the temp.

Btw,may i know what kinda thing that i have to look/monitor while OCing?other than temp of course..

well, manage to bump up i5-3570K to 4.7Ghz at around 1.84V-1.192V temp around 60+ for my custom water cooling with 360mm rad. not sure if i wanna try higher clock... but with this Vcore at 4.7Ghz, i assume i got a nice chip.

You might consider 3570K (RM700) + ASRock Z77 Extreme6 (RM575) = RM1275 .jpg) Please go through ASRock Z77 Extreme6 Review for more details.

Looks promising. But is there any HUGE perfomance difference compared to i7 3770k? I mean apart from the multi threading.
