Yes,.....in this case you will eliminate any fault from memory side,first. nod.gif

Edit:
My 3770K is far from "golden",but I know excatly how much voltage I need for any multi (45-50).
The best thing is to apply"Optimized defaults" in BIOS and set voltage only for CPU (Vcore,LLC Vtt,IMC,etc...)
After you know what your CPU is capable of ,next step is memory.

I try with new setting this time

Vcore = 1.32
LLC = Turbo
Extreme memory profile (x.m.p) = DISABLED

but i still getting the 0x0a error code when run prime95 for 1 hour + sad.gif

but then i do have passed the Intel Burn Test with standard stress test, so is my system stable ? or i still need to increase Vcore ?

Set Vtt to 1.10V as suggested earlier.
Try this setting with LinX 10-20 runs.
Which Prime95 version you run?
(I using IBT or LinX,which is sufficient for my view of stability)
You can check also memory with Memtest86+ v4.20.

Can you show Tweak Launcher next time when you testing.

Got a better BBSE kit which just did 2500 8-11-7 stably. Too bad 8-10-7 is not possible I believe it needs cold or stonger IMC to shine.

RAM wont affect CPU clocking so does the faulty DIMM slot. Just that you're running at slower mem bandwidth resulted by the single channel. Why dont you try OC your CPU and see how? Why dont you RMA the board?

hello guys. long time hasn't post here. need help oc'ing my samsung ram. specs on my sig. no screenshot yet coz still running memtest. right now my timing is 9-10-10-10 @ 2000MHz. based on most ram timing I see, the tRAS value is around 20~28. is it possible to have it at 11 like mine?

DRAM RAS Active Time: Also known as tRAS. This setting defines the number of DRAM cycles that
elapse before a Precharge command can be issued. The minimum clock cycles tRAS should be set to
is the sum of CAS+tRCD+tRTP.

tRAS = CAS+tRCD+tRTP in your case the most efficient tRAS is 9+10+10 = 29 and above

DRAM Ref Cycle Time: Also known as tRFC. Specifies the number of DRAM clocks that must elapse
before a command can be issued to the DIMMs after a DRAM cell refresh.

Asus MVF OC Guide

It's in the RAM Timing Control menu in the BIOS settings.

AFAIK there's no specific calculation formula for tRFC but the lower the value, the faster the Super Pi benchmark will score. I will just leave it to auto for daily usage.

Also, anyone else using this mobo and ram having problems OC'ing ram past 2000MHz. Can't even POST when set to 2133MHz or more even at very loose timing cry.gif

Its normal if u clock ur proc at high frequency. how much u overclock ur processor and how much is the core voltage? easier if u post your cpu-z reading
