Thanks. I think I am contend with the current setup at 4.5ghz. Pretty stable.

4.5Ghz is pretty good. smile.gif
I envy your temperature. My proc also need 1.3v for 4.5Ghz but even using NH-D14 temp reaching 103c during stress test. maybe cos my room temp is high.

Why your bus speed is less then 100,did you try to run IBT/LinX or Prime95,what is your max temp?

hi all expert here, quite sad when i try to OC my CPU to 4.4GHZ , i only change the CPU clock ratio to 44 and set the vCore to 1.30v other setting was set to default value, but it just cant pass the intel burn test. I saw some of the member here was able to OC to 4.5GHZ at below 1.30 Vcore , is there any other setting i need to configure ?

My Pc Specs:

CPU: Intel I5 3570k
Mobo: Gigabyte z77-d3h (F18)
RAM: kingston hyper-x 4gb ddr3 (x2)

Try with 1.32-1.33V till pass IBT/LinX or Prime95 (do not cross temp of 100C),not every CPU is same (then decrease if need).

If you have all 4 memory slots full ,set Vtt to 1.10V (any overclock or stock?).

Also,set in BIOS ...
Vcore LoadLine Calibration to Extreme,
PWM Phase Control to ExPerf,
Vcore Voltage Response to Fast and
cpu Pll Overvoltage to Enable.

I beleive after apply above setting, you will need less then 1.30V for multi 44(45).
Btw,
latest BIOS for your board is F19g.

Thanks you so much for the reply, i am going to try out your suggestion tonight and will post the result later. Hope can OC to 4.4Ghz with low temp smile.gif
Btw, do i need to upgrade the bios or can try out your settings at F18 first before upgrade ?

Yesterday i tried to OC and run prima95 test but i get blue screen error 0x0000000A, Any idea how to solve this sad.gif ?

Another weird things is, when i set Vcore at 1.31 how come the Vcore was higher when i check from CPUZ during prima95 test ?

My settings :
Vcore: 1.31
Vcore LLC: Extreme,
PWM Phase Control : ExPerf,
Vcore Voltage Response :Fast
cpu Pll Overvoltage :Enable

BSOD.....0x0000000A:
unstable RAM/IMC, increase QPI first, if that doesn't work increase vcore

Are you leave memory on stock? (how many sticks?.....are you set Vtt to 1.10V?)

After how long of Priming get BSOD?

What is reading Vcore with CPU-Z with full load?

Edit:
Try with only 2 sticks of memory set on stock, that will be easier to know how much voltage your CPU need
with various multi 44,45...46...etc.
And always check your temp when testing.

Increase your vCore, try 1.4v if your cooling still permits. After stable then only try lower vCore.
vCore is higher on load due to vdrop, since you set the LLC to Extreme.

Yea,I purposly ask him to set Extreme.
No harm......

Edit:
If he trying multi 44,usually he must pass test even everything is on Auto.
Or he got bad chip.

My previous result with multi 45... 4/8 cores ...Vcore 1.2200V (with old H50 cooler),RAM 2666:
without tweaking

Without to going to BIOS every time, you need 4 basic software,as you can increase Vcore,Vtt,IMC,etc.... by Tweak Launcher in Windows:

GIGABYTE Tweak Launcher B12.0426.1
IntelBurnTest v2.54 - Linpack (11.0.1.005)
CPUz-OC 1.62.2 (32/64-bit)
RealTemp TI

yes, i use the XMP profile for memory and i din't tweak any setting for memory yet, Vtt also leave at AUTO. The default timing is 9 9 9 27, i also din't change this value.

I forgot how long priming to get BSOD, bcs i not in front my pc that time ,am i still available to trace back ?

Vcore with CPU-Z with full load is about 1.32 something.

yes, my Vcore value about 1.32 when LLC= Extreme quite close to the guide you posted. My max temperature when running prima95 can get about 81C, is it normal ?

The temp looks normal for Ivy Bridge.
I believe that your BSOD is caused by insufficient vCore.
Good luck

Leave memory on stock......don't use XMP atm.
Are you on multi 44?
If yes,I don't beleive that 1.32 V is not sufficient. blush.gif
Which memory you have.......give us more detail and some pics....... nod.gif

Yes, i am on multi 44.

I use kingston hyper-x 4gb ddr3 (x2) 1600Mhz

hmm, u means use the default settings as below right sad.gif ?

Extreme memory profile (x.m.p) = DISABLED
System Memory Multiplier = AUTO
Memory Frequency = 1333mhz
