By rights B75 and H77 would support XMP:http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Soc...#specifications http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Soc...#specifications but that depends on BIOS of the mobo i5 2400 supports XMP: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/publi...2-datasheet.pdf |

are motherboard effect RAM timing?
Many said 2200Mhz at CL10 @ 1.55v I can't make it stable. EVEN 10-11-11-28. Very frustrated right now. I can run 2133MHZ at 10-10-10-24 . Are the motherboard effect the timing? Because this asus p8p67 only support maximum 2200Mhz RAM. And Sammy green is not on the ram support list. |

Yeap, 1.6v But here's the different I found between my board and asrock z77 extreme 4. I can go 2200Mhz at 10-10-10-24 @ 1.55v I think z77 is better then p67. But when comes to processor, I still don't test my chip yet. But my friends 3570k have sweet spot on 4.4Ghz i may said. Can't hit 4.5Ghz under 1.3v. But that time already 5am, malas nak oc. Maybe today juice up 1.3XX for 4.6Ghz. And he's using 500w power rock. I'm bit scared to push more. Any suggestion? |
