Turn off any power saving features,spread spectrum and speedstep. Basically to oc IB, you only need to alter cpu voltage, the multiplier & cpu pll. Start with stock voltage and increase the multiplier to 43x. If it doesnt boot, increase the vcore by a little until it boots. Run Linx/IBT/P95 for quick run to test for stability. If it fails then add more juice. Repeat the process until you achieve stability.

I couldn't refresh back my memory about AMD overclocking but i do remember about the northbridge frequency/voltage,fsb,cpu-nb voltage and other that stuff which need to be altered in order to achieve stability.
But in IB & SB overclocking, the only way for you to increase the speed is by increasing the multiplier, differ from amd which you can play with both the multiplier and fsb. And to achieve stability, you only need to play with the cpu voltage. About the cpu pll, im also still a bit confuse about it. Got some people say it helps in higher oc, lowering it down give you better temp.  

The maximum temperature for IB is 105c. As you can see above, i already asked around about the idle temperature. Mine was fluctuating around 41-43c with NH-D14, while owikh getting around 40c and he's on wc. But idle temp is not really a priority here. Just keep your eye on the load temp. For load temp, below 90c should be ok. I left my rig 10c below the maximum temperature during stress test and i get 61c max during gaming.

4.0GHz is fine on stock cooling and voltage

Hyper212 should be able to handle up to 4.3-4.4GHz.
Actually there's no set voltage but just a range.
Some say it's around 1.2v but it varies for different mobos. Some boards follow CPU VID, others set CPU VID + offset, some just set whatever they wish. Differences in VRM design, BIOS behaviour, LLC/vdroop/vdrop make all the difference.

GFlops is low bcoz your're not using Win7 SP1 or the latest LinX in which you should get 100+.

no one is going to be mad if asked nicely. i'm also newbie. learned lots of things from the sifus here. from wat i can see, your gflops is to low. it should be 100-ish. maybe bcoz u're not using the latest linx or u haven't updated to win7 sp1

Most probably. Add some juice or reduce multiplier.

Add some voltage will surely help. But maybe you will find stability with those voltage @ 4.5, assuming you still on 4.6 right now. But its up to you

What temperature are you getting?

Maybe also check your RAM setting,as you run your memory 1866 @ 9-11-9 as 2133 @ 10-11-10.

Nice. stable for 10min and the temp is ok for an air cooling. suggest that u run linx longer with all ram tested for max stress level

Mind to use RealTemp 3.70? Because CoreTemp is not accurate as well Sorry didnt noticed that u are using newer version of CoreTemp. Wanna see ur RealTemp figure as mine also same oc setup with 4.6GHz using Hyper 212 Evo
