QUOTE(devinz @ Jun 21 2012, 02:58 PM) Kia posted up some notice mentioning on the delay on their facebook.. although it is just some typical notice without much detail but at least i appreciate their reply. Take a look at Hyundai Sime Darby facebook. The facebook is nothing but mere a marketing channel for Sime Darby. All question posted are NEVER replied.. There are worst out there and at least Naza "seems" to be doing something over it.. Let us stick with NazaKia as to this BS notice! Hyundai etc not my concern! What notice was there in NazaKia dealer showroom when I go to order n then paid for vehicle? The salesperson promise that my requirement for vehicle before 30 June will be met so I pay in cash get receipt no BS notice that I saw anywhere! Why post it on Facebook why not in dealer or in showroom? This mess created by NazaKia n I hope the consumer/ buyer come to know about this and avoid NazaKia!

What headache caused by NazaKia and hope delivery happens as promised! I am not going to hold my breath n still upset with the manner in which customer being treated!

QUOTE(bUGG @ Jun 21 2012, 12:48 PM) From promised early of May to end of May, then to mid Jun, then end of Jun, now mid of July? Seriously, i m sure when is mid of july, naza will tell u end of July, then mid of august. I know most car u have to wait for 3 to 6 months, and I seriously don't mind waiting for 6 months. The problem is, car is already here, "downpayment paid" and register for number plate and gotten "WWU" but now WWX is already on the road, I still haven't get the car. Probably when WXZ on the road, I still haven't get the car and I am still holding to WWU. Imagine the frustration. Hi man just give your dealer a call! I have just recd a call today that my optima purchased on 18 June ready for delivery next week as NazaKia apparently have sorted out the documentation issue n dealer can release units to customer! There seems to be plenty of units n more due shortly n I am told some optima units went to Mumbai India then shipped back to Msia! All I want is optima in brand new condition n ready for delivery next week as Promised!

Don't put too much hope on this as when they receive your downpayment, they might get back to you few days later saying there's some "small" issue and delivery of the car will be in mid of July bla bla bla.. . I can only say it when I get my car, till then just wait, wait and wait...... sigh...

For those of you who have received call from SA indicating AP issue is resolved and can get car next week... Did you guys booked directly from Naza or 3rd party dealers?

The very fact that Naza Kia can deliver CBU cars fast is a clear statement that they are serious about customer service. U find me another car manufacturer that can deliver newly launched CBU cars within 2 weeks. Even Toyota cant do that. So lets cut them some slack. This problem is not caused by Naza in any way. If u wanna blame anybody then blame the Gov. Delivery time is not important in my opinion. Whats more important is the car itself. The fact that ure getting a value for money car at such a price together with an excellent design is more important. Doesnt matter if its delayed even a few months. SA's can always promise the world and we all know that Kia is in the process of rebranding so that involves front end improvements. This change cannot happen overnight so lets all be patient and give Naza Kia the support they need. I collected my car today and im very impressed with their warranty support. Even though they couldnt locate the problem but they still agreed to change both rear shock absorbers to 'give me peace of mind'. I doubt u will ever get this kind of treatment at any other car manufacturer. Plus after all the testing, they even gave my car a wash. Resolvement of the problem was followed up by an email confirming what they had done in addition to many phone calls to keep me updated since 2 days ago. This is something to be proud of so appreciate it. Vehicle warranty is the most important factor not delivery time.

So I know where to send my car to in the future, I for one also agree that delivery time is not a pivotal factor.. Just don't ask me to top up..

Can someone list down all the issue that K5 owner are facing and the solution at the 1st page. This will help all the soon to be K5 owner. Not only that maybe you guys can post a good SC in one location + all sort of information that is useful to us. Also, what is the procedure buying this car? i meanam I supposed to pay the down payment now and wait for the car or I should wait 1st until the car is ready to be delivered to me..Sorry for the noob question
