In my experience the easiest way to lose weight is by counting your calories.

Invest in a good digital food weighing scale; you might be consuming more calories than you think so after a while you will be able to eyeball the calories and not rely on the food scale...

If you eat out then it's a bit hard..

Hi guys, I'm now going for a weight loss diet, after suffering an increase of 5Kg due to holidays xD

From today, gonna eat

breakfast
- 2 egg white omelet with olive oil (+ 1 egg yolk)
- oatmeal bread
- granola with low fat milk
- banana

lunch
- probably skip it, no point as i always wake up at 11am, have some fruits like watermelon, apple or orange at 3 instead

dinner
- salmon fish or chicken breast

drinks
- lemon water or orange juice.

gym
- i usually go there just to burn 500 calories top, on certain days, i will go for body muscle

now my question is, is there any good protein shakes that can help with weight lost after my day of gym?

In general, stumping the problem(weight gain) from its source is the best way to lose weight.
As the saying goes, you are what you eat - so begin your diet(food intake), if done right, you will naturally lose weight without having to hit the gym. laugh.gif

tbh, you don't need to be a doctor to learn about nutrition. so a piece of advice from me, do know how much your body burn energy a day and how much you eat per day. from there, you'll know if you'll lose weight or gain weight. trust me, it isn't that hard.

Why the heck don't you make an effort to calculate calories? Just because all those things on the list sound "healthy" doesn't mean you're going to lose fat. A calorie excess is still an excess no matter how good the food choices are. Tsk.

Apparently you didn't understand what me and dl trying to convey. Even if you consume what ever weight loss products, if your meals make you gain weight, how can you lose weight?

Whenever I read about the diet people are having to maintain a healthy amount of deficit, I see they eat heavy stuff for dinner. Is this really significant? Can I swap my meals between lunch and dinner? Because I always eat eggs and toast for breakfast, rice, chicken and vegetables for lunch and something filling for dinner like bread. And I exercise.
