Really wanna cut down the 2-3kilos. Not looking to bodybuild or anything, just to reduce the tummy XD

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Aug 1 2013, 10:31 AM) You have a sedentary lifestyle so you need less calories to maintain. Start exercising 3-4 times a week, 30-60min each time and you'll see some result soon. Jogging, rope skipping, functional training etc would do just fine. And no doubt, food intake is important. Healthier option is breast meat - baked, steamed, grilled, pan seared, stir fry, broiled etc rather than fried. Egg is another good source of protein other than chicken breast. YES!! I have the urge to do something after work hours but I have not got a clue what to do! I tried picking up jogging (either in the morning or evening) during my break before starting work, which lasted a good one week - everyday go "jog"..haha. The problem is, whenever I go "jog/run", it only lasts for a short while and I would just end-up brisk-walking for a few more rounds before calling it a day.

my diet = No rice (at most, 1-2 nasi lemak a week), totally no exercise XD Breakfast = fruits (banana!! ) Lunch = economy rice, without the rice - it's either just take 2 vege + 1 egg or 3 vege (sometimes just eat fruits - papaya & watermelon) dinner = homecook, eat vege and soup - no rice. dropped from 65kg to 62kg and maintain already - cant get any lower, lol

In general, stumping the problem(weight gain) from its source is the best way to lose weight. As the saying goes, you are what you eat - so begin your diet(food intake), if done right, you will naturally lose weight without having to hit the gym.

QUOTE(noonies_naruto @ Dec 30 2013, 07:02 PM) hi guys. I am 171cm and weigh 126kg. I've been thinking of changing my diet starting 2014. I have been lifting 10 kg dumbbells since 2 months ago and started going to the gym yesterday. I am thinking of changing my diet too. I don't want to eat rice anymore and heres my thought of a new diet:- -1 x boiled potatoes - 250g of diced chicken breast meat - boiled carrots, broccoli, and french peas - 1 x hard boiled eggs - banana packed into one tupperware for each bfast, lunch and dinner. I know this is a noob diet, but thats just what im thinking of doing. I am working as an auditor and hardly could find time to do my regular exercises etc. What do you guys think? hope can get feed back. waaah!!!! I am only 2cm shorter than you & half your weight @.@" Only 62kg le

QUOTE(panda-man @ Mar 12 2014, 01:05 PM) if you want to better regulate bowel movements, you should focus on eating foods with a good fibre content. like vegetables, fruits or certain cereals. I agree with this, I was on rice & flour-less dies for a month, but ate lots of greens & fruits to compensate. I do take rice now, but on a limited basis at 2-3 meals/week (sometimes family eat nasi lemak, takkan I just eat the cucumbers right ) .

QUOTE(DT1 @ Mar 14 2014, 05:11 PM) At 110 kg I don't think you should even be brisk walking or jogging leisurely, let alone HIIT! Focus on diet first and bring down total weight. The other forumers may have input on suitable exercise routines. Diet + light exercise (breeze walking is ok - don't overdo ) I got a friend lost 20+kg, mostly due to diet at first then followed by routine exercises - he was 100kg+ too, now 70-80kg do bodybuilding already got muscles instead of fat really huge turnaround, happy for him

QUOTE(alien9 @ Jun 12 2014, 09:28 AM) Anyone can lost a lot of weight in short period of time if they eat very less and doing strenuous exercises. You can get famous through it? Owh well. But the main issue here is what kind of weight you lose. Mostly muscle and only few fats.I wanna burn fats, not muscles HIIT burns more fat?
