QUOTE(selvenz @ Apr 2 2012, 03:51 PM) by the way the tuscon sales have taken a dip with the new kia sportage, sa also throwing in HU units for hi spec 2.0 sonata, some offer cash discount...but just me 2 cents Both Tuscon and Sonata very much affected by the Sportage and Optima. Sonata sales dropped 45% in Feb while Optima sales increased by 238% compared to January. Even Teana dropped 37% in Feb. Dunno why. 114 units of Sonata sold in Feb compared to 206 units in Jan. Optima sold 152 units in Feb comapred to 45 units in Jan. This post has been edited by cybermaster98: Apr 2 2012, 04:06 PM

QUOTE(selvenz @ Apr 2 2012, 04:14 PM) by the way 1600 bookings , loan approval rate is down across all dealers and models. with new BNM rules a lot more difficult to qualify for loan based on 1/3 of NETT Income not Gross like the old days.
Already My SA mention got people being rejected by PBB and MBB Yes i wont get excited by bookings. Many of these 1,600 ppl might get rejected cuz many of them dont even know about the new rulings. By the way, its not just based on 1/3 income. You gotta deduct your other loans, credit card hutang, etc from that nett income and then 1/3 that amount.

QUOTE(feng yun @ Apr 5 2012, 09:12 AM) Soon Preve will win the "North Asia Car of the year 2012", good choice! K5 also you bash, elantra also you bash. Certainly you are anti-korean, wonder you are using samsung pon or i-pon Just ignore this loser. He is being trashed on many threads hence why he runs for cover elsewhere. Just ignore him. He's just another low life liar. Claiming he owns a Merc C250 CGI but cant even afford his own property. Still renting at Casa Kiara 2.

QUOTE(mav3rick @ Apr 11 2012, 11:41 PM) Finally had the chance to test drive the elantra. but only the 1.8 premium did my test drive at the SS2 branch, too lazy to drive all the way to old klang road, so sorry to SA there Offers: Not much. Didnt get any discounts. Just free front and back emblems, RM300 off tinting and full tank. According to the SA, he already has 30-40 booking himself alone.. popular car, not allowed to give further discounts by SD. Wondering if any other SAs can top that.. All SA's will claim to have good sales. Every showroom ive been to (other makes included) have always claimed good sales. So i will always take that with a pinch of salt. Bookings also may be high but how many actually translate into actual registrations? Many of those bookings are ppl who arent aware of the new BNM ruling. Btw, there will never be any discounts or freebies for new launches. Discounts are usually offered to boost sales or to clear stock and this will only come later.
