Just back home from covering event in Melaka... damn tiring!

Friend tried to poison me with D800... but the sample on screen didn't impress me LOL. Lucky lucky... *for now...*.

green tint? or something else that dont impress u? share share..

Didn't notice the green tint, but saw the pix la... it looks just like what the D700 does when not zoomed in. Guess D700 will still be sufficient for me at the moment *restrain restrain...*

But frankly, I will eventually move to D800. Reason not because of the sensor, because of 100% VF and the improved AF module. As for now, I'm satisfied with my D700's sensor image quality (of course D3s is better... but more $ needed >_< D700 is the current sweet spot for price/performance ratio among Nikon FX). So if D800 having better image quality, its a plus for me.

wow just checked out retro 7, didnt know they dare release one
size and price wise its basically the same as the retro 10, cept has extra pocket for ipad...and doesnt come in black...i'll pass.
i would like to see a deeper retro 5 so can put in with batt grip.

Hehe. Macro, insects, small items, products ... that's what I enjoy doing when I didn't go outing with friends. (rarely go outing due to time constraints also )
Anyhow, it is easier coz can do it just at home & own time.
Really inspired by those hardcore macro+insects photogs with awesome lenses ... can zoom in so much and with a lots of details intact ...
I'm just using cheapo setup + macro lens : d3100 + tamron SP AF90 + raynox filter ... taking macro+super macro is really damn tricky and tedious ...need patience.

ya D3s.
D800e + grip + extra batt, will come pretty near the price of a D3s.
and still will have less batt life, probably slower AF, obviously slower FPS.
