QUOTE(-YS- @ Apr 23 2012, 12:36 AM) But frankly, I will eventually move to D800. Reason not because of the sensor, because of 100% VF and the improved AF module. As for now, I'm satisfied with my D700's sensor image quality (of course D3s is better... but more $ needed >_< D700 is the current sweet spot for price/performance ratio among Nikon FX). So if D800 having better image quality, its a plus for me. |

QUOTE(zhinsara @ Apr 22 2012, 02:28 PM) I can strongly recommend the think tank bags. Fantastically made (better quality than lowepro imo), sturdy construction, and very well designed. The only downside is the cost..... wow just checked out retro 7, didnt know they dare release one Actually there is a Retrospective 5 and 7 if 10 is too big. But in reality the 10 isn't that large to start with. It's also very discreet. I've used a Speed Racer V1 and currently use the Sling-O-Matic 20 as my shooting bag. size and price wise its basically the same as the retro 10, cept has extra pocket for ipad...and doesnt come in black...i'll pass. i would like to see a deeper retro 5 so can put in with batt grip. Added on April 23, 2012, 1:37 pmsome shots from last night. kinda empty small stadium. ![]() ![]() GOD. ![]() ![]() the Scottish Rockettes. ![]() This post has been edited by Everdying: Apr 23 2012, 04:39 PM |

(rarely go outing due to time constraints also Everdying, where was this? It's a footsal tourney if I'm not wrong? Anyhow, it is easier coz can do it just at home & own time. Really inspired by those hardcore macro+insects photogs with awesome lenses ... can zoom in so much and with a lots of details intact ... I'm just using cheapo setup + macro lens : d3100 + tamron SP AF90 + raynox filter ... taking macro+super macro is really damn tricky and tedious ...need patience.
