I am happy with my D700...
Was thinking D800,but i dont do video and rather invest in a better lens..looking at the 24-70mm f2.8
So who has the D800 from the D700, any opinions..
Cheers

if i shot raw will the picture setting at the in-camera settings affect the raw file? i tried different picture setting and put in lightroom, preview shot no difference hmm.gif
The only softwares that recognise and can show the effects of in-camera Picture Style settings from the NEF file is Nikon View NX2 and Nikon Capture NX2.

Going from D700 to D800 is just wonderful. You get to capture details you never thought it was possible to get. Focusing is faster too even on older AF-D screw driven lenses. But investing in the 24-70 is a wise idea.

Get the D800 then resize it down to 12mp like D700. Gives you cleaner photographs at high iso compare to D700. Hahahahaa

Suggest you find vincent, or known as wingsoon camera service. to repair or cla your old cams.
i did let them cla my 35mm f2 af for very cheap price oni like rm90 ( middle man charged a bit i think )

kodak never close down, they focus on films only.
film still available for the quite well known line.
consumer film is inexpensive, but the professional films are not. laugh.gif
