Thanks for the head up, i never realized the apps will have problem detecting the real SD card with the 3 layers archictecture coz using SGS2 now...enuff internal storage. I guess SGW is out of my list.

Guys, after i swap the memory. It can detect my 16gb sd card. But no more sd internal (1.7gb). Where did it go? Then when i try move the apps that movable from fon to sd, it said failed to move. why la? help~

EDIT : Can u guys, give me link where to do step bu step to swap the memory? I afraid i do wrong even i think it successful. Thanks!

Today I'm quite pleased with my SGW performance. After I did some spring cleaning of my internal memory, the multi taskings are smooth. No lagging. Mine is stock ROM. I wish I can transfer the sygic aura to external sd. Currently it sit in 2nd. layer (View from file explorer in samsung kies)

i noticed sometimes when playing games also will lag abit.

Is your firmware newest? Newest should be Android Version: 2.3.6 Build Number: GINGERBREAD.DXLC1. This build has better gaming performance, won't struggle that much compared to previous builds. Check and see whether your phone is up to date. On older 2.3.6 build, even playing where's my water/cut the rope requires me to to clear ram and launch the app directly(open the game, hold home button to get to clear memory option then in my case, even launcher will be killed because I used Supercharger V6 script which changes the behaviour of ram manager of W. And then, hold home button and directly choose the game from previously launched app list.) But now no more such problem when playing simpler game like where's my water and cut the rope. Yesterday I tried Gun Bros still will lag without clearing memory but I rarely play that so I don't care much

Added on April 12, 2012, 1:53 pmErm... Actually if you compare to HTC, it's not much of a problem. We still got 1.7gb to spend... Just choose which app you wanna put in internal and which in external wisely. For me, I keep only X5 maps in internal, sygic maps in external and selected game in external. You got s2 you also won't use W to play gameloft games right? Only games from GLU and gameloft actually eat a lot of memory. Sometimes 500~600MB... For the time being, I installed 130++apps, still got plenty space for me to throw more apps into it.

I got no idea. Why dont you just flash to bionic rom and then you no need to get your hands on this

This phone not for me, for my wife...my 2nd partition in my SGS2 now almost full...11GB...left maybe 1.9GB only...so you think leh....

Anyway, my wife will probably use less, but i dunno lar...better get more storage, later she complains...
haha....buying for wife very difficult task...
1) Buy expensive phone - she ask why you waste so much money.
2) Buy cheaper phone - she ask why you so cheap.
3) Buy not enough specs - endless complains.
4) Buy overspec - i dunno how to use.

Hi All, I've use my Samsung Galaxy W for 3 months ++ Already encounter auto power off for few times. Last week I've even restore back to default factory setup, fresh and clean. As of now, I only install WhatsApp. No more other software. This morning it auto power off again. Anybody encounter this problem before??? Any solution???

haha. i wish! but this is my fren phone. I am GNex user BTW. So, i'm just helping her. Now, i already factory reset and format all storage. To make sure clean wipe like new phone. After 1st boot, it still rooted as superuser apps still in there. So, now i'm trying to swap both storage before she can installed all the apps she want and move to sd without problem. Am i do correct step?

Lolx. Screen sensitivity is same as my ipod touch 4 cuz i have both of them. before i brought this galaxy W, i own an ipod touch. so i think there's no different on the screen responsive, camera also good but just the color abit dull. not so close to actual object's or scene color. but the 5 mp cam is great enuf for me
So far its working perfectly, juz sometimes when playing heavy RAM games will lag abit. juz slightly abit, but its still will affect me losing while playing "temple run" =.=

typing and all...i think old people need a typing friendly phone...

Guys problem! My SGW screen sometimes will start flickering when the screen is blank. Meaning after I lock my phone and the screen goes blank, after a few minutes the screen will start flickering from my lock screen to blank screen. It happens about 5-6 times than ok again but will start again after a few minutes. Is it software problem? Or something I downloaded? Virus? Anyone else gets the same problem?
