does your phone get hot when play games? or maybe on wifi and surf web?

my galaxy W is getting lag recently. any solutions?

root is awesome , just root it , if u concern about warranty , just unroot it afterward

impressive update. The latest update does improve the phone performance very much. Last time my phone keep heating due to playing game, or due to overload often. Play a simple game like Where's My Water, Draw Something also lag... now no more lolx. Now the phone runs very smooth and less heat.

Warghh having a hard time deciding between Galaxy W and One V now. Somehow from what I can tell, the only "key features" that I like about One V is just the ICS (that one also no big deal) and the metal build. Other than that... Now leaning towards Galaxy W. What you all think? I mean if I were to get One V, it is just pushing my budget by extra 100, worth it? Or should I use the 100 and get a memory card instead?

The curve is no big deal? In fact it should provide a better grip IMO. Sense... Quite a nice UI. not sure about the RAM part for 512MB models since i only played it on 768MB HTC Desire S, no lag at all. SGW still will lag from time to time 

my ori is  GINGERBREAD.DXLA2 (Build number).should i update to DXLC ?

If you have data plan, enable location services and data when locating. Erm... Don't use M9/X5/SYGIC to lock into position. These apps lock a lot slower. Get GPS Status from market and use it to lock. After you get GPS lock, launch the GPS Software you wanna use and there you go, you got locked. The first lock usually takes some time but after you frequently lock in from certain places, it will tend to remember and make you lock a lot faster next time you need your GPS. For me, my galaxy W can lock around the area i stay, within 4~5km range within 15seconds. Sometimes even more amazingly just merely 7seconds. I do give it to lock when I'm free, or just for fun. I do try to lock the other day, in Pudu which I rarely be there. It took a while longer but with data on (AGPS), I can still lock in 20++second, at the door of a shop+heavy rain outside. But this only happens after the DXLC build update. DXLA (the previous build) is a lot slower. I noticed this, but whether it's one of the problem Samsung get rid of in this update, I got no idea (means I don't know whether it's just me or many other SGW users noticed this too).

my wife still using the phone, its great but she complaints that the phone overheat a lot especially when playing jelly defense or sprinke - then after the game finish, the phone will auto reboot 1-2 times...really weird..is this normal?

anybody use GoSms and got duplicate sms?
At 1st it is working fine. But after i installed GoLuncher and i start receiving double sms....
Anybody know why?

Hi guys,my gf phone battery ends very fast.She charged it last night and this afternoon the battery almost finish ady. She told me she can feel heat at the body part but not on the battery. Is this normal?

And her phone isnt connect to any wifi/internet

Hello people , been using SGW for 1 month ++..within this month i encountered a serious self-reboot problem..Duno how la..went back to the service center they just help me to reformat the phone..but the problem still there whenever i play game .. sometimes just a lil bit lag only then the phone terus reboot liao..I install only a few apps..Anyone noe why ? Pleaseeeee help     

Used to have Papago X5, GPS Test, GPS Status in my W.  Locks very fast, accuracy is very high.  No lag.  Only has annoying FC issue with X5.

Check the firmware, if there's an update, just update it.
Settings->About phone->Software Update
The DXLC build is quite a lot more stable than previous build. The value pack build should be coming soon. Heard to be even more stable 

Papago which version? X5? I only used X5, seriously it just takes forever to lock. Not sure why. I normally give the gps lock using GPS status first before I open up X5 or SYGIC. If it's X5, take note that the voice won't work on W. The too-old-software not supported fully by the newer W. Not sure what causes the problem though. I tried papago M9, the chinese version. Not fully compatible. The screen must be in portrait instead of landscape. Need to set in the option to keep it in portrait mode.
