Something weird happened today. The moment I stepped into Sunway Pyramid my phone had a pop up that says if I want to enable wifi or not..or something (its the first time I went to Pyramid with this new phone). A few minutes later some of the applications started launching by itself. I think i even saw some application that I'm not familiar with but I can't be sure. Even the SMS function suddenly opened. My Digi signal completely died for a few minutes. The phone acted strange and kept launching some applications throughout the time I was there or near there. Anyone encountered something like this? Is it some virus?

how to patch??

Why don't I ask you first. Is it necessary for you to patch? I just left it untouched. I keep all media files in external micro SD, frequently used documents in internal usb storage, GPS x5 map in internal storage. Is till got plenty space after I installed 120++apps. Of course this is just me. But I'm giving an option not to touch it if you don't even need to touch it. You have to fiddle with rooting and those script script thing

cowwithgun explained before, it's the developers fault. Instead of using the API to get the external SD card location, they just hardcode it to /mnt/sdcard. For phones like HTC, /mnt/sdcard is the SD card. For phones like SGW, it's the internal card (external is /mnt/sdcard/external_sd). So for Papago, it will always look for /mnt/sdcard, which will be either the external or internal card, depending on your phone. Apps like Where's My Water? always installs onto the external SD no matter what phone I use (that's my experience, may be different from yours).

yaya hard to locate GPS....

If you have data plan, enable location services and data when locating. Erm... Don't use M9/X5/SYGIC to lock into position. These apps lock a lot slower. Get GPS Status from market and use it to lock. After you get GPS lock, launch the GPS Software you wanna use and there you go, you got locked. The first lock usually takes some time but after you frequently lock in from certain places, it will tend to remember and make you lock a lot faster next time you need your GPS. For me, my galaxy W can lock around the area i stay, within 4~5km range within 15seconds. Sometimes even more amazingly just merely 7seconds. I do give it to lock when I'm free, or just for fun. I do try to lock the other day, in Pudu which I rarely be there. It took a while longer but with data on (AGPS), I can still lock in 20++second, at the door of a shop+heavy rain outside. But this only happens after the DXLC build update. DXLA (the previous build) is a lot slower. I noticed this, but whether it's one of the problem Samsung get rid of in this update, I got no idea (means I don't know whether it's just me or many other SGW users noticed this too).

Yeah. After that I found out that auto rotation has been disabled (it was supposed to be enabled) and the keypad sweeping has been enabled (and was supposed to be disabled).

Its like someone was able to access my phone remotely and mess things up. No problems once I left that place.

Newly bought Galaxy W few days ago after trade in my Galaxy Ace. Very satisfied with it.
But it seem picture quality is not as sharp as Galaxy Ace for me, will try shoot with another setting to test out..

Wow... Really macam alien invasion. Next time go again see what happen. If happen again, get out of there, check your wifi, bluetooth off and go in again see what happen. If happen again, switch to flight mode go in. If flight mode still like that...

I pass by there every week so yeah will definitely keep a look out.
