Btw, how long does transactions take to turn up on M2U?

Mine doesn't even show me statement and due dates.
All still N/A.

Most AMEX transactions will get posted on the same day of transaction on M2U...viewable on the next day after 11am

Hi all, just to share...I used my MBB2 Amex during last weekend PC Fair to buy a camera. Surprise to find many booths accepting without extra charge. Got 5x TP + weekend 5% cashback.  rclxms.gif
While claiming Pikom rewards, surprise to see MBB booth beside. When asked, got a free Nandos voucher (1/4 chicken + bottomless drink), for swiping Maybankard above RM500.  thumbup.gif  And then if used Amex, get another free tall coffee mug.  cool2.gif

But I found it difficult to find booths accepting Amex. Maybe I was unlucky sad.gif

The MBB is really efficient. Approved last Thursday and today can receive the M2C already but too bad my housemate don't know my full name so he didn't dare to sign the package. Got the notes from poslaju with "K" stated there which stand for kad kredit. Tomorrow will go poslaju to get the package.

Well, I made a transaction using the M2 Visa yesterday night. Until today it isn't reflected in M2U website.

For Visa/Mastercard transactions it takes 2-3 days after to be posted/shown on Maybank2u.com.
AMEX transactions are quicker to be posted.

Ah, that explains it. Thanks.

Oddly, we're supposed to receive a call when a transaction is made.

They called me 20h after the transaction made. lol... by that time if got fraud, someone would have already maxed it out.

just received a call from 03-27763900, the guy claim calling from MBB KL HQ, want to offer me pre-apporove cards for Mayband2cards without any income documents. He say If I agree, the cards will be courier to me within 14 days.

Is this some kinds of scam?

When you receive such calls, check them by asking them information only available to bank staff.

Like your records or recent transactions.

Verification works both ways.

Shouldn't be because mine was pre-approved as well. smile.gif
But you can do your verification as well.

Did they waived your RM50 GST? I've told him if he can waived then sent me the cards, if not then no need.

He say cannot then hang up the line.

I think cause based on your card spending limit they pre-approve.

MBB stingy with the GST.

they just give me 10k points to redeem for my petronas gold card GST for year 2012.
And they insist that every card is only allowed for ONE time waiver, because I didn't request for waiver on last year, so they give me the 10k points for redemption.

But this is a good card. smile.gif
Actually I didn't request for any waiver but I was given free 10k TP to waive my last year's GST. I'm not sure why but it suddenly appeared on my online banking, either it is because I was invited by them or I made a lot of complaints during the transaction. They sent me wrong card and to wrong address. rclxub.gif

Anyway, I'm grateful for that. smile.gif

I agree this is a good products.

But this is not a must for me. AMEX is not so well accepted in Malaysia. 5% cash back was capped.
When I using my petronas card during weekends on petronas and groceries also entitle 8X TP (about 4% cash back and this is no cap)

Now I only do my shopping and petrol on weekends

Did they automatically give you the 10k TP this year also???

Actually, its 5%(weekend) + 5x points (everyday).

Weekend got 7.5% off till capped at rm50, then everyday still have 2.5% off.

AMEX accepted in quite a number of stores i go to.
