Paypal can pay Maxis using Amex?
Coz afaik Paypal dont allow charging RM to Malaysian merchant via Paypal.

You cannot pay PayPal with RM currency...

I dont think so, last time want to buy using Maxis Paypal on GSC B1F1 but it cant, finally i know the reason because GSC charge using RM, so Paypal only accept Amex in USD.

Interesting though, so far all my purchases in RM cannot be paid with PayPal.

Maybe you need to register a maxis-paypal account.


Then link your amex to it.

Not only USD, I tried Euro and Pound Sterling, worked.
I believe SGD also will work.

No point asking paypal, they won't even bother attempting to answer your request. Their call center is in HK.

Can pay in RM, coz I log in maxis account, there is a paypal option, my maybank 2 card is in application progress, coz if can pay by paypal, then is good lo, can hv 5% cash back and 5x treat points. Else, if i want this benefits, hv to go maxis center to pay using amex pula... online pay, easier and faster mah...

Paypal option yes, but when u want to pay it wont allow Amex.

I do sent request to PP asking this issue. they said should be cant but actual reason still unknown.

Paypal do had M'sia CS, i do call them at night asking this two, but seen like they also dont know how to answer.

So it means if my PayPal is linked to VISA or MasterCard then it will work with RM?
Anyway, have no intention as my PayPal is linked to AmEx and for my overseas weekend purchases.

On the maxis FAQ sheet, it states only visa/master.

My 2 cards still in application progress, maybank team call me just now and ask me to email them 1 more document, will, now waiting for their side to reply me, either approve, or not approve. So, i never try amex yet so far.

i tried using the normal agoda portal (not thru Maybank) and it seems doesnt work (not showing rebate). it always appear to me Maybank one feels a bit weird. so i would prefer to use the normal portal.

and even after i booked it thru maybank portal, even though it showing in maybank portal in my "previous transaction", it's still not showing that in my the normal portal..until about 10 minutes later. i guess it need time to propagate from maybank portal to the normal portal.

1 more payment using amex to pay maxis bill is by phone call, but 1st u hv to add in ur amex details in ur maxis account, then everytime u wan to pay, just call them, and will pay using amex.

Yup.

I set my Amex as main card, but i have done a demo just now and it auto changed to Visa.
When i manually change to Amex it shows error.
