There is a difference between Treat Points (TP) and Membership Reward (MR). For American Express Charge Cards, you get MR points which can be used here:

From what I see here, your salary pa definitely more than mine a few times.

I got called up like 2 weeks with their officer offering me MBB2cards gold, I accepted, he just asked me for my details, confirmation and estimated monthly salary.Very low salary.

Just roughly around 2 weeks or lesser, they send thru poslaju and I got my cards today rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif in poslaju office =D credit limit is low but I dont mind since i dont spend much anyways.

So now, I will need to call up customer service to activate my account right guys? And also a slip there to sign for acknowledgement and send it back to them. Any branches is fine right?

No you don't need to activate the card, it can be used right away. I didn't recall I did any activation for my MBB2Card only my OCBC Ti requires me to do that.
No need to send back the acknowledgement copy la. sweat.gif

His situation is same as mine when I received my MBB2 card. You need to call CS or go to branch to activate it because you received the card through poslaju.

If you collect the card through bank branch, they will activate for you when you collect it. Experienced this when I blocked my visa and received new visa card from bank branch the 2nd week I get my MBB2 cards.

As for the sign for acknowledgement, you can sign and submit to any MBB branch.

Unless MBB change their policy recently, all my cards from MBB cards including Supps are via Post Laju and no need to call to activate and can be used immediately. And yes, it does have the red sticker asking me to call to activate. Like Human Nature said, no harm calling CS to activate because it is good also to ask when is your Statement Date so you can plan your purchases biggrin.gif

Yes. I think its a high possibility they offer based on that as well.

They have indeed changed their policy. All cards send through Poslaju are now deactivated until the actual card holder has received the card and call-in to activate the card. This is one of the new steps taken to counter fraud. Same goes to replacement card. Credit card account will be blocked until the card holder has received his or her new replacement card.

Digi EPP package included as I had 5xTP last 2 weeks when I sign for the Digi EPP.

But from what I read in this thread, if you go to Digi centre and use AMEX for EPP, you get 5% cashback as well.

For the bold red colour that I highlight as above, I can clarify that Digi Telecommunication accept MBB visa and give 5xTP because I use my VISA for Digi EPP to get Digi smart plan+S3. I swipe my visa for the EPP on 23 June to be exact.

So I sent the answer. And the received a sms reply "Thank you for your participation. The winners list will be published in the www.americanexpress.com.my website within 2 weeks from now. T&C apply."

But I could not find the winners list. Does anybody know where's the list? Is this a scam?

No. It's not a scam. I received this SMS back in the middle of May and they have not published the list of winner until now. It is just Maybank being Maybank... Inefficient and slow sweat.gif
