Tones of ppl still thinking to get high level card to show their class. notworthy.gif

Agree with you, it has nothing to do with class or status, it purely shiok sendiri, hahaha.

This I don't agree. If all CC same, why you get MBB 2 Cards and not MBf card?

Yea.. What I meant is there is no date of announcement for winner. Or payment date = date of announcement?

It's stated there in the table with title Cash Rebate Payment.

well, you can try to appeal or re-apply if you want this Mbb2 card. As for the CIMB DA or UOB 1card, try to see which one benefits you the most smile.gif

I do think you know that this MBB2 card is good in terms of cashback and points so it is probably a good idea to appeal/re-apply. Ask them to clarify what is the meaning of 'resigned'.

OT: You made a good choice with OCBC Ti. You dont need high credit limit for this card as the maximum cashback is only RM50 per monthly statement and you dont get points. No reason to keep other cards that dont benefit you. Anyway, you can keep them if you have paid GST for this year.

yeah....but not now to re-apply, they didn't look at the commission.....but maybe later I just want 2 cards, credit limit is not important to me will give up either one and keep the OCBC Ti.....for the time being, commission base is disadvantage for apply anything to bank, esp now is not the good timing.... hmm.gif

thank Human Nature rclxms.gif

Did you know that UOB now has a ridiculous auto waiver condition for their credit cards?. If you don't mind calling UOB every year for annual fee, then ok loh.

As for CIMB, you can use the points for on the spot redemption.

As for OCBC TMC, with 5% cash back you only need RM1K spending to hit max cash back of RM50. Who needs high CL?

As for MBB 2 Cards, did they ask for proof of income and make you declare your loans? If you know the reason why it was not approved, easier to appeal.

Ya, cannot.
Maybank representative will follow up with your referral in order to get the further details and supporting documents.

Agree with your point. Why ppl like high CL ? I actually reduce the CL to avoid credit card fraud.....

yeah, i don't need high CL .....going to cancel both cards but UOB ady paid the GST 2 months ago so hold until next yr

last time CIMB Direct Access is the best, now the points I have only use for GST.... doh.gif

I think even the officer told me no reason, my MBB 2 cards can't get approval either because of my current income (mainly is commission), esp the last 3 months very poor & currently moving to another firm to work....or my housing loan is about RM2k per month, a bit high compare to my last 3 month commission.....but I sold my old hse to buy the new house only 2 years I ady settled 75% of the loan but they didn't bother about this, what they want is : current 3 months salary/commission

I think I will re-apply it again a few month later after I moved to new firm & everything esp the current 3 months salary/commission is stable.........

currently, I may apply or downgrade to UOB One card or Hong Leong Mach or Alliance You:Nique.......I like cashback & also points to settle the GST............still better than the current 2 cards I have ....... cry.gif

Gen-X expert ...what do you think about UOB One card or Hong Leong Mach or Alliance You:Nique....even they may not as good as OCBC TMC but my average spending is about RM2k.....I need another cashback card now....TQ

https://www.machbyhongleong.com/mach-credit-card

but as you have mentioned UOB one card, their terms is ridiculously & no idea it has smart$ points or not, Alliance You:Nique has the tiers to spend even it has the timeless points.......no idea about this new Hong Leong Mach

Bro, I guess it is because of your last 3 months income. MBB nowadays kind of strict. Wait till your income increase then go apply again.

As for which card is good, bro, you are trader lah, should be good in numbers, go compare yourself tongue.gif
I did mention about Alliance You:nique versus Alliance Classic in my article Entry Level Credit Cards - Which Is Best For You?

Aiyoh, why you never read my article on UOB One Card Review. Yes SMART$ Cash is applicable for all UOB credit cards.

But if you want to know if the MACH is any good, check out my blog (or look out at MACH Thread) tomorrow or Monday latest. Still drafting now and touching up tables.

Yay yay! ...new article...but boooo to the banks' marketing people, no exciting new card to fight MBB2 and Titanium and some say UOB One card. Of course I did not mention the rest of the Infinite cards but that's another level.

Just a quick question guys:

Any of you redeemed stuff using the accumulated Treatspoints before? On the redemption form it says "Note: Redemption is not applicable to American Express Charge Cards."

I am very puzzled then, as I have 30k points from AMEX and if I can't use it to redeem stuff then where can I use it?

Most of us the major expenses we cannot really control is Petrol. I doubt we will get other banks offering 5% cash back for petrol anytime soon. So looks like the Free For Life MBB and OCBC TMC Free For Life with 12 swipes and also Cash Bonus will be with us for a long time.

Oh yes, I just published by article Mach by Hong Leong Bank for GenY - First Look

Please note for AMEX Charge Card, the reward points is Membership Reward (MR) and not Treats Points. MR better as can redeem 200 MR = RM1 cash back smile.gif

For Maybankard 2 Card - you earn Treats Points. ALL Maybankard earns Treats Points.
