Hi, each month I am using 3 different credit cards from 3 different banks.
Is kinda troublesome to make 3 payments using maybank2u(via IGB) and been charged RM2 x 3 = RM6

Is there any method I can transfer the 1st and 2nd credit card payment amount to the 3rd card? From there I just pay the 3rd card via maybank2u(IGB). Can?

Or any better way?
p/s : pls don't ask me to cancel the other 2 cards or use only 1 card for all transaction. Not able to do that, cos different card got discount for dining, retailers, direct debit etc..

Use cheque, cheaper 0.15 x 3 = only 0.45

If I have cash and the credit card really can give me 0% interest, why not?

Typical answer ... I am not surprised. Go ahead ... if you want to do something then nobody can stop you except yourself.

None i guess ? Unless you are willing to pledge your 15k FD to apply for a credit card but i don't know any bank still offer this after the new credit card rules came into effect since January this year...

Just go apply credit card with the bank your business/you have account with. If they still don't want give you a credit card (subjected you meet their income and residency requirements), then go give your business to another bank.

And since you willing to pledge FD, then pledge it against your current account and get a debit card issued with that account and wau lah eh, you got RM15K revolving credit facility for your debit card tongue.gif

you can always go to the bank website and apply online. Why you want to give your personal details to strangers?

i contacted maybank before, and they say its POSSIBLE to get a CC provided you pledge your FD with them.. with the amount 15k, i don't think they will give you a good amount for credit limit... maybe 2-3k max (i think).... but it's possible lah, you should go to any nearest bank branches and consult them smile.gif diff branches have diff verdicts depending on branch manager smile.gif

Most cards do not give points or cashback for petrol unless explicitly stated

Bro, since you new to credit cards, recently many people have been reporting that they received calls immediately after they received their Maybankard 2 Cards and got conned RM499. I strongly recommend you click here and read this thread on Suspicious Calls Relating to CC for your own good.

And if you want to learn more on credit card click here to my blog where I have articles for beginners starting with the prelude to show you the extend of people in debt with credit cards.

I just received a credit card. But I wondered, if I didn't activate it, would I still be liable for the annual fee & government tax? Thank you.

if you applied for it, most likely it is already activated and you have to pay.
if not, then you should call in and cancel it or else you have to pay
doing nothing = auto accept = have to pay
