I am attempting to connect my laptop to the Hotspot. My laptop is able to find eg SPH-D70002E (hotspot) on my laptop's WiFi available net work list.

When I click on that, I get a Window's error message: "Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refres the list of available networks and try to connect again."

this happen when i connect with my dell ( win xp )
but when using fujitsu window 7 no problem at all

i really wanted to F(*^*%%& up samsung customer service. Never made their promise to become true.

My tab is a faulty unit since 1st day. The promise to repair within a day. OK i accept it. Now, they could not able to repair it.

I asked for New Unit. They said will call me back as soon as possible.

that stupit CS not even call me now. Nvm, i call to their office. Some one told me that she having a call with others customers. Fine....

Now 20 min already. Still not call me back.

If like this tomorrow i will go to their office to demand for FULL REFUND

Keep auto off, hang, when charge, will hang then extreme hot.

Just got their phone call. Will replace a new unit as commercial. The earliest will be Next week wednesday, late will be friday. If i still did not get the new unit. I will MAD................ ask for refund.

This will be my last device for SAMSUNG brand.

repaired phone is not virgin anymore. they already opened it. who knows what they did on it. shakehead.gif i think its kinda unfair if we bought a faulty unit. we spend our hard earned cash on it. not 2 or 3 ringgit, but we are talking about RM2000. its a half month salary for most ppl. what were their QC unit doing? even customer is better than their QC coz customer at least can detect any fault/problem on the unit, FOR FREE. Samsung paid for his QC workers for sleeping all days. c'mon for god sake Samsung- CHECK THE PHONE BEFORE SHIP OUT!! mad.gif

Just bad luck you got a dud unit. I have bought many samsung sgs, 2 sgs2, 3 sgs note, 2 tab, 10.1, tab 7+ n latest 7.7. Have never faced hardware issues n mist of them are ap sets
I always like to quote my ex boss Mercedes 800k brand new car s class breakdown on highway just a week. Does this makes the Benz a poor quality car? Just his bad luck

Yes, is my bad luck.

But their customer service is not professional. Push here and there. I am alike "Crazy Guy" walk here and there around bukit bintang to bet for help.

Call their customer service. Said will call me back in 10min. End up..... fly kite. Until i call them back, they only remember

They push me to Celcom then push me to Samsung service center.

The main point is. My unit not even a day use, already got problem. If i used for a month. I willing to leave it for 3 weeks.

Ya, you are right. I willing to give them repair after the nice lady from HQ said they will repair for me withing 1 hours. I wait for 2 hours in their service center from 6.45pm until 8.45pm.

End up?..... they said i had upgrade the software, please try again ya. WTF?>>> it's hardware issue.

Then the nice lady from HQ call me again the service center could not do anything. As for me live with the current unit and will call me tomorrow for verification of new unit.

The next day (TODAY) i really can't hold the TAB 7.7, keep restart and hot. So i call the nice lady help me. She said will get me the answer by today. After 5 hours, she not call me yet. So i called her again, she not free. Then after 30min, she call me back. I got the answer, she will replace me a new commercial unit 1-1 exchange. I will get it by next week Friday. If early than that, she will give me a call. I trust them this time. If they do not keep the promise. I will do something crazy about it.

is a RM2099 stuff................ If below RM500, i will not bother about it.

I m so happy during the time i bought this 7.7 tab. But end up. Tired with it..................

Samsung customer service still like shit. They should keep buffer unit for RMA purpose. Like many company did

few months ago. I bought xperia ray. The next day i found out camera problem. Go to their CS center in Plaza Berjaya. My problem solve within an hours. This is good customer service. I don't care either their repair or replace. As long as i get the fine unit.

Yup, i bought one. RM99 at HN IPC. A bit shock that the price at sammy the garden RM199 and sunway RM179.

What did you do or did you install any app before this happen
If tab cannot be switch on, switch off. Boot into recovery mode ( press volup+power simultaneously ) n select clear cache n restart. If still cannot select clear data factory reset

haiz.. just came back from lowyat.. it cost RM600 to replace the LCD. Please be careful with you Tab its really fragile.

If u want lag free, juz consider iPad. But it won't give u custom ROMs, hacks, etc.

Heard that ics shld be smoother. So waiting.

I'm using this 30pin to micro usb adapter as backup charger. Advantage is you can use your normal handphone charger which has micro usb connection to charge the Tab. Somehow the adapter boosts enough current to charge the tab as well... so no need to bring so many chargers when on the go...
will confirm if it works when charging on PC usb as well
