just tried to charge on PC USB port... also working but cannot do data transfer

seems like a very helpful device. but do you guy need to charge it most of the time? i charge it everynight at home since the battery can last me more then a day actually.

i've tried to format my 7.7 for twice d.browser still crash quite often.help...

Use another browser like Dolphin HD.

the ad doesnt say much about the adapter.. but it might be a step up transformer?

a way to determine the charge capacitance is:

charge % / time.

in other words, in 1 hour of charging time, how much % increase in battery..
as compared to a ori samsung charger..
then we can determine how effective the adapter is..

and compared to any other type of charger...
we need a means of measured constant, which is the ori charger to then compare with all others..

eermm.. make sense?

by the way, overnight charging of batteries, especially modern ones like the lithium ion/polymer batteries is not good..

these batteries have a rated life span of the amount of recharge it can do.. ie 2000 times for example..

prolong charging or full device left on the charger,
the device will cut off charging when full (high end device) and run on batteries (discharge) till it reaches 99%-90% depending on device... then it will charge again.. thus depleting the number of recharge the battery is capable of.. thus depleting the batt life needlessly in one over night charging... imagine if this goes on for 365 nights a year...

Check and make sure it's 2A or 2000mA otherwise it will not charge or charge very slowly. Many irresponsible seller trying to pass those 500mA or 1000mA charger as Tab compatible charger. A shop sold a dual USB port charger to me and said it's compatible with Tab but turned out no, even though the output says 2100mA. I was doubtful because 2100mA is total output but the charger has 2 ports so it should be only 1050mA per port, insufficient to charge the Tab. I got it returned but the boss show me black face. Never going back to that shop again.

Well from the photos attached in eBay, it's printed on the charger "5V DC 2A". Anyway, it's just printing...

Im using one now. Loving it!

Waiting for my "Exclusive Hard Case T.White + Scn Protector" from eBay.
Case + screen protector + shipping = RM27.06 I think it's a good buy

ya, specially 3rd party compatible charger, the printed might be fake spec. how do we verify ourself? any tool or app? to check the actual ampere output in real time.

Uncle benny...your tab is HK version right? I heard HK version are made in vietnam..is it true? Planning to get HK AP set as well.

One more thing...do you mine sharing the 7th and 8th number of ur tab imei number? Coz as far as i know..if its 00/ 03 / 04 it will be the best build quality from the manufacturer.

Sent in service center to reflash rom or do it yourself

Just look around at mudah or lelong to get best deal...

Im using it now n its very high quality n practical....its also not really thick...

Just want to share this I received the casing ... this is cheapest so far I have found .. at first I was a bit concerned buying from a non verified member from Lelong but this seller proved to legit and very responsible.

Noted and thank you for the info. Forgot to ask..does the HK or Malaysia version has the Infrared? I saw a review in youtube and his 7.7 got the IR.
